A lovely room. Top floor with great views out over the canal. Be mindful the staircases are VERY steep and there is no lift.
The bed was exceedingly comfortable, we slept so well. Not at all noisey, probably due to being on the 3rd floor (4th if you’re American).
Great location. A 3min walk from nearest tram stop and under 10mins walk to nearest metro.
Staff were very helpful and explained everything so well on arrival. Excellent English.
I would highly recommend staying here at Hotel Amstelzicht

Convenient location, clean and comfortable, helpful welcoming staff, charming building in classic Dutch style (with very steep narrow stair case). The only downside is that the bar next door was very noisy at night. Might be ok with the window closed but as it was so hot during our stay we had to have the window open. Recommend bringing ear plugs just in case!

Great location! Close to restaurants, bars, and roughly a 30 minute walking distance to all the things you want to see. Lovely staff, very helpful. Would stay here again. Limited toiletries. But we had an absolutely great stay.

As long as you’re nimble (beware the staircases), this place is great! Very clean and quiet. Additionally it’s close to most museums and attractions. Never had to walk more than 20 minutes to a destination.
