Needs to be upgraded.. Clean Rooms..

Perfect location. Clean. Great hotel to take your furbabies. Only complaint is they do not take care of dog poop the other guests leave behind.

Liked the Ocean View DIDN'T like that ANIMALS were allowed to stay in rooms I think that's very unsanitary. Children were not supervised in the pool area they took over everything and very rude and noisy

Service was fair. Hotel was clean but very run down. We had an ocean front room and the views were incredible. So nice sitting on balcony. Kind of overpriced with there service fees and extras. Air condition only half worked but sufficient. But wasn’t very hot out.

I booked this 2 night stay with Bermuda Sands because it fit my budget, was dog friendly, and was on the beach. Myself (35F) and my 2 children (7 & 13) and our dog. The pictures online do nothing for the actual state of the hotel. Once checked in (smooth process surprisingly) they charge you $5 per key card for your room. Not a big deal. The elevator was SKETCHY and creaked and shook horribly. Once on the 2nd floor (room 212) we opened it, it smelled of dog pee and smoke. Carpets in the room were absolutely filthy, my kids and my feet bottoms were black after walking on it. It was damp, I'm certain that was the pee smell. I immediately checked beds and mattresses for bugs and didn't notice anything. The toilet ran nonstop no matter what I tried. The first night people were screaming outside in the halls. The tvs only have a handful of channels that work. Sofa pull out bed absolutely filthy, crumbs and sticky. All 3 mattresses were old and many questionable stains. Second night I went to my car and there was a massive pile of dog feces and urine on a stairway. Once back in the room, I flipped my sheet back only to see a bedbug crawling. My kids were already asleep and I chose not to freak out but I definitely will not be going back, I don't care how cheap it is. The views on ocean side are nice, the close walk to sand and water is nice. Their pool was being shut down for the season so I can't comment on that since we couldn't use it.

There was NOTHING about this place I liked ...staff ignored you , bugs crawling everywhere , bathroom was so outdated and nasty , grounds outside had trash in bushes , cigarette butts everywhere .. pool and lazy river had no chlorine what so ever , sand all over the bottom ...water was nasty .. wouldn't date get in it .. Also booked on Expedia which cost more than it would have if we had arrived there and got a room on our own ...never again 😡

Soon as we walked into the room it smelt like straight dog piss and dog in general. There was crumbs on our comforter before we even had the chance to lay down.

It was ok until my check out day I was 11:13 a.m. checking out and they knocked on my door 5 times rushing me out

Roach in my room. Dirty sofa bed old food stuck to it. Front desk attendants very poor attitudes. Best thing is ocean view

This room 118 was so dirty sheets were covered in hair roach infestation carpet smells awful tv and AC did not work in the first room no coffee maker and no hair dryer the whole property was dirty pool water was was so dirty we did not use it

It was very easy to book with a pet without all the hassles the others put you through.

The property was average. Not unfair for the price. The room didn't have toilet paper upon our arrival. And when we asked for some, the staff member was a little snotty about. So we ended up buying our own.

The room layout was not what expedia showed. I knew by the price it was subpar. Pets were supposed to be free, but was charged $17 a night. You get what you pay for.

Areas in hallways and elevators were dirty. Staff was not very friendly. No plus for bathtub or sink. One flourescent bulb in bathroom was out. Ceiling tile above tub moldy. Excellent A/C. Had to park off site. I am elderly and son is handicapped>

My remote didnt work other than that it was worth the money

This property is virtually 30 seconds walking distance to the beach. It was quiet, comfortable and the pool area was fantastic. We will be back.

Very rude at front desk, didn’t get in room until 3:30 pm. Accidentally left my cellphone in room, called them and they said nobody had turned it in, it was a Samsung Z-FLIP lavender in color Very expensive phone. Will never stay there again.

GOOD LOCATION nothing else

I found more than 20 something cockroaches in my room. Very disgusting. It pays to stay somewhere nicer.

Check in front desk desk employee rude!!! 1 trash can in room , nasty microwave, no glass pot for coffeemaker. Went to stop to get cleaning supplies and more disinfectant cleaners.

It was horrible at the Bermuda sands. The service was terrible the room was dirty and falling apart. The bed was to small and hard. The bathroom sink kept backing up etc. My overall experience was terrible. I do not recommend going to that hotel in Myrtle Beach.

The room wasn't 100% clean, food was stuck in the sink, microwave wasn't very clean, the door was difficult to lock at times (had to make sure the handle on the inside was level before you closed the door and properly locked.) The inside just needs some minor adjustments, just looks run down. Other than that LOVED the location the pools, jaccuzi, pet friendly,

We just stayed last weekend. I was honestly happy with our visit. It’s not the cleanest, it’s not expensive either so that balances. The location was prime and it allows pets which I love the option. It’s outdated but the view from our balcony was breathtaking. There were no bugs and no Oder. Front desk was helpful when needed. I would stay again
