When you see the hotel photos looks like a good option but when you are there the hotel needs some improvements. For the price avg per night $250 you can find better option.

The hotel was beautiful and we had a great view. The shower was awesome. I wish the restaurant matched the hotel. We tried breakfast the first morning. The staff was really nice. They brought us our breakfast. It was not up to the level of the hotel. We couldn’t eat it. We just left.

This property is a well hidden gem. The rooms are modern. The lobby smelled great! Friendly staff the young man Brian at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. No complaints.

We loved our stay at this prefectly located Marriot. If we could have slept in the lobby, we would have..... the deck overseeing the water, the pool and jacuzzi, the comfy atmosphere.... loved every bit of it!

Had a great stay here during our first trip to St. Pete. Staff were great (shout out to Daniella who cleaned our room and Brian at the front desk for being super friendly and taking great care of us). Pool area was perfect. Even though it wasn’t on the beach (which was just fine for us), the water views were gorgeous and beaches were all within short driving distances with lots of public parking options. For us, the location was a good base in order to explore different areas including Clearwater, downtown St. Pete, Sarasota area, and St. Pete beach. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want a clean place with lovely views and don’t care about staying on the beach but want a stepping off point to explore multiple areas.

We were staying just for one night to visit our daughter. I thought the price was pretty steep for what was offered. For example- in the bathroom, we were provided a bar of soap and a makeup wipe. For nearly $300/night a small jar of hand cream would have been nice. Tried to use the iron but it was a struggle to get the ironing board out of the narrow closet and the iron’s temperature dial was worn away and it was impossible to set the temperature. An additional charge for parking was also a little bit too much considering the price

Oh my!!! This was my first time booking accomodations at a Marriot, and i am so happy that I did! Excellent service from check- in to check-out! The hotel was clean inside and out, and the staff were absolutely amazing. I didn't get the young lady's name that checked me in, but it all started with her! We encountered wonderful housekeeping staff in passing and Shelli as well! Her aura radiated and without needing her for anything, and just encountering her in passing, we experienced her beauty and she truly is a GEM! BRIAN was the one to check us out and he was like a beautiful and bright sunrise! Lol The checkout process was flawless and actually enjoyable. Customer service goes a long way with me, especially when I am spending my hard earned money for a memorable experience. Needless to say, I am now a "Marriot Girl" and you have your AMAZING Team Members to Thank for that!!!

I wanted to be on the water and while my room was large and nice it was on the ground floor, I would rather have been on a higher floor and facing out towards the Madeira Beach, so 90 degree turn of the room. Oh well, I would stay there again when I am in the area.

Convenient location! Food at The Bistro was good. Seeing as I had to park on the street and across the street at American Legion for part of our stay, $10 plus tax parking per day is ridiculous!

The location was unique and beautiful. We loved our view and room. People were friendly and helpful. The food was good but a bit pricy. I thought the entrance to the front desk was awkward, along with the entrance to the pool. We will visit again when we are in the area.

Falsely show a sandy beach and say "ocean view" then charge $10 a day to park without telling that ahead of time. It's so misleading and I will never stay here again

It’s not a big deal, but it’s a little disingenuous. After we checked out, they tried to charge us another $75 for parking. They claimed it was on the website, invoice, and parking pass that it was $10 a day. We could not find it anywhere, and we saved the parking pass. It was not on it. If you want to charge it as part of the room charge fine. But don’t bill me after I checked out and try to gouge me.

Brian at the front desk was delightful. I needed to stay there over the holidays. Then, because I was alone, and it was unusually cold that weekend, I spent most of the time in the hotel. The room was amazing! It had two TVs and a beautiful work area for my laptop. Rebecca, who worked at the bar/restaurant was a fabulous server. My experience was just great overall.
