A beautiful older hotel close to Kelvingrove Park. My room was a good size with windows facing the street. Bed was super comfortable and the street was quiet at night. No A/C or lift but that was not a problem. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. I did not try their breakfast as I enjoyed searching for cafes in the area.

Welcoming and very helpful staff.The room was spacious,the en suite shower was not,there was nowhere to store toiletries in the shower area so had to keep them in my washbag in the bedroom.The bed and bedding were old,the duvet was dead flat so had to keep fluffing it up.When I booked I was under the impression breakdast was included in the price,this wasn't the case,I had to pay ten pounds at reception and then give the receipt to the dining staff before I could get breakfast.
The selection was good with plenty of cold options too.
The general cleanliness was not great,the windows were very dirty,especially outside,the internal phone wasn't working so had to call reception on my mobile when I had an issue with the shower.
The hotel was well situated for the city and transport was reliable.A very dated hotel which really needs a refresh but we'll located and as I said tge staff were very nice and helpful.I lived Glasgow and would definitely return but not necessarily to the Sandyford.

This hotel is excellent, on cleanliness, helpfulness, price and location. Convenient to restaurants & shops and close to downtown. Very satisfied with my one night stay. Sadly I could not partake in their free breakfast as I had to leave very very early. But I had already booked a second stay for two nights next week so very much looking forward to that stay and to their breakfast!
