Great value for money, friendly staff, clean and comfortable

I felt comfortable and safe at Sandyford.

There was plenty of room for the three of us. Staff was friendly and responsive and bent over backwards to accommodate our needs.

I would like to see your breakfast facilities reopened soon.

Good short stay accommodation

It was quiet, clean and close to lots of shops. Good value for money.

The card payment machine didn’t work after many attempts with the type of card even though it was accepted.

A good value mid-range hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A nice Victorian property within walking distance of the city centre.

Breakfast was served in their sister hotel, the Sandyford Hotel, a hundred yards or so along the street.

Barebones in a nice neighborhood

The room was spacious and the location was very good. Like that there was someone at the desk 24/7. Lots of choices for restaurants, pubs, bars and a couple of express grocery stores on the next street

The lobby was ok, just a couch but no tables to sit at. Lock on room door seemed flimsy. The cleaning staff came in one day but not the next I didn’t see any privacy signage. You needed to leave your key at the front when you left the premises. With so many rooms how do you know who belongs to which room? For a smaller more intimate accommodation I can understand but this is quite large. Never had breakfast but the coffee making facilities in the room were awful. The instant coffee was like black tar, worse than instant usually is.

Very chilled place to stay in the west end, would return.

staff at the lodge were really friendly- especially the staff on nights Parking was easy and free over the weekend Really chilled vibe to the place Would definitely return

Breakfast was in the main hotel, the catering staff here were unprofessional and chaotic. They were very vocal about being too busy and that there were too many guests from the lodge attending.

Comfortable, great location.

Great location for a base to explore the city. Street parking was convenient. Rooms were sizable and comfy.

The bathroom was rather small to be shared amongst four people. We weren't told that breakfast would be next door at the sister hotel and ended up waiting until we found one of the housekeepers to ask. The canteen arrangement was a bit hectic, but staff handled it very well. Once we found breakfast, it was great.

Room 17 was stinking of cigarette smoke - not fit to stay in - I notified reception at the time, have telephoned, emailed & messaged & had no response - have given them every opportunity to contact me before writing review - appalling customer service sadly

Awesome Glasgow

We love the location and our room was quite large. And the breakfast is good

I had requested two rooms one for my son and one for me and unfortunately our rooms were nowhere is near each other.. also breakfast area was very crowded and both mornings they had run out of numerous things.

Convenient and great value for money

Just a 20 minute walk outside Glasgow city Centre. In addition, the price of the accommodation was at a far better rate in comparison to other options. Staff were very friendly and approachable with any issues I had.

great value hotel, well situated that I would return to if I need to go back to Glasgow

Great location, close to the exhibition centre and with lots of great pubs and restaurants nearby. staff were extremely friendly and efficient, parking outside the hotel for a modest daily fee, room was spacious and clean.

we had single beds that were small and not very comfortable, as well as flat hard pillows. We were woken often in the early hours of the morning by guests who had obviously been out on the Town and returned inebriated and really loud. be great to have a bit of management of this.

Excelltent value for money in a great area of Glasgow

Location in the west end of Glasgow, walking distance to loads of great bars and restaurants as well as a bus stop to central glasgow at the doorstep. Staff were super friendly and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was an added bonus. Value for money for this place is really impressive given the cleanliness of the place and its location.

Small hotel in True British townhouse. Good location in WEST END

The small hotel is located 5 min walking through the park from UofGlasgow. Very comfortable location. The breakfast is served in the underground dining room. You have true Scottish breakfast served with Bacon, eggs, sausage etc. You can choose egg options etc. Not many vegetables You stay in true British Townhouse !!! You can experience all benefits and problems.

The building is very small, and the rooms are smaller than what appears in the pcitures. Bed is quite narrow, but good matress. Shower is tiny. Room 9 has location away from street noise, with view into other builiding. You need to walk the stairs for all rooms. No elevator.

The location of Sandyford Lodge was ideal and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sit-down breakfast was a pleasure and a great way to start the day. The location couldn't have been better.

My bathroom was private, but it was downstairs by the kitchen. I got used to it, but would naturally have preferred it was on the same floor.
