Hosts were so friendly! Beautiful property off the beaten path; nice rooms and great food!

This was a FABULOUS stay! We were a little nervous driving down a 3 mile stretch of chat road, but boy was it ever worth it! The B&B is beautiful, with flowers everywhere and a comfortable deck overlooking a pond. The first thing you notice driving up is the solar panels and greenhouse; very self sufficient! Views of the mountains from our room on the second floor were great too. The place is spotless, with big comfy beds, a common lounge/living room on our floor and we had a grand spotless bathroom attached. The owners were able to get us a room with a pull out couch for an extra bed, although we hadn't booked it. And fast wifi included. A super price for all this!
Great people! When we showed up, they were cleaning fresh picked blueberries to make jam the next day. Breakfast was included and unbelievable. Fresh baked muffins (she likes to bake - Win for guests!) and eggs over easy (my way), potatoes, toast, and sausage. With orange juice and great fresh coffee. I cannot say enough good things!

Fantastic place, feels like home. Great deck to sit on in the evenings. Out of the way and quiet. Hosts were wonderful.

Remote place from the highway, 3 mile of gravel road drive to the property. Owner guy is rude, lazy and moody. Guy did not offer breakfast for the family on 2nd day and very pushy to checkout around 11am. Not kids and family friendly place at all.

My husband and I were looking for an authentic Alaska experience and we found it at Falcon's Nest B&B. The owners are friendly and went out of their way to be of service to us. The house and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They served homemade jams and jellies along with fresh potatoes from their garden and homemade biscuits at breakfast. We would stay there again.

Falcons Nest B&B is a fairly new B&B. The house is large, clean and the beds comfy. One cannot fault them in any way in these areas. However, it leaves a bit to be desired in the B&B world, even in the rugged, out of the way Alaskan style. While there is a picture in the description on hotels.com of the garden view they boast, understand this is an actual somewhat maintained garden not the “garden” one might think of when visiting most B&B’s. This is not a pretty flower garden that you may stroll though and take a seat to relax. While a true food garden can be pretty this is not for your enjoyment. It’s pushes the envelope a bit much to claim this “view”. To the side of the house off the decking is an unkept pond one would not want to meander near. The front of the house has a wooden walkway that is in need of much repair and paint. A section of the railing is missing and when raining can be a bit slippery. Watch your step. The “view” from the front walkway is a surprise - you can view several old, rusting, non working, dilapidated, regular and farm vehicles right next to house as well as out a bit further. Again, you do not want to walk in this area. Yes, it is quiet and serene but the description is a bit lacking and much work needs to be done for the price being charged. In time with some clearing and upkeep outside as well as some decorative touches inside this could be a lovely, charming farmhouse B&B. The young lady who welcomed us was very kind, helpful and attentive.

Emelyn and Peregrine were amazing hosts. They made us extremely comfortable. The room was very clean and cozy. Their house was lovely and we spotted 2 moose around their properly which was a good treat :) Emelyn served us a delicious breakfast of egg omelet, (handpicked) blueberry pie and coffee rhubarb cake. She checked with us on our dietary preference in advance which was really kind of her. If we go back to Talkeetana again, we would stay there for sure.

This was an amazing place to stay. A short drive to Talkeetna and amazing hosts at Falcon’s Nest. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and was everything you could want from a home made meal.

Not exactly what we expected. It is off the beaten path, which is good, and very quiet. Lovely garden, and it is apparent they are still putting together the whole B&B experience. Comfortable room.

It was very far back on a gravel road and our gps couldn’t find it. That’s the only negative.

Ok for 1 night stay. We somehow didn't feel at home. Also, this place is in such a remote location....road leading to the place (last 3 miles) was pretty bad. There was no wifi available.

We had a fantastic time. My girlfriend in particular went crazy over the strawberry and raspberry patches! Lovely house outside of Talkeetna.

Alaska is a paradise to wilderness lovers. The town of Talkeetna is a quaint community only a few miles away. It is located about halfway to Denali State Park and Anchorage, Alaska.
This place is a little isolated, but easy to find and access the town by car. You can also see Mt. Denali from the property. I cannot overstate the view of this mountain, which absolutely towers over all the other tall mountains in the range
Nice couple with great personalities own the property and keep it clean. The breakfast is home made and the other visitors there the day we stayed were from Italy.
I would highly recommend a trip to this area and Falcon's Nest Bed & Breakfast is a very hospitable stop.

No Mountain View as stated. Really off the grid as was several miles on a dirt road. Had private bath but it was down the hall. We were there 4 nights. Other rooms had in room bath and TV. That would have made the stay better. Breakfasts were very good. Home made breads, coffee cakes and jams. Bed very comfortable.

Great bed and breakfast! Off the grid, but still connected (Wifi, Direct TV) Very friendly hosts who cooked a great breakfast for us both. Hosts gave great tips on safety as well as great things to do and see. Very clean!! Would stay again!

This was our first stay at a B & B and it was a wonderful experience. The family made us feel like part of their family and the accommodations were very nice. The food was amazing, mostly fresh, homegrown food. The little town of Talkeetna is very charming and there is plenty to do there, shopping (lots of local art), restaurants, raft trip, zip line, flight-seeing trips, etc. It's about a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna to the visitor's center at Denali. We would definately recommend Talkeetna & Falcon's Nest Bed & Breakfast.

Falcon Nest b@b is located off the Parks hwy on a gravel road in the woods - far away from tourist crowds. We depended on directions from Emi the host rather than on our GPS in finding the b@b - it is a bit hard to find the place with no street sign - the impression is that you are in deep forest! But we found it all right - try to arrive there before it gets dark.
The hosts were very friendly and gracious.
We stayed on the second floor room with an excellent view of Denali mountain - on a sunny day it is a delightful view. We were lucky to be there on a clear evening - the sunset view of the mountain was superb.
The room and the attached bathroom are VERY spacious and there is a whirlpool bathtub to add to the enjoyment which also overlooks Denali in the distance.
Breakfast is listed on the website as continental but actually we were served a wonderful full breakfast - eggs, home grown potatoes, toasts, a variety of home-made jams, nice selection of fresh fruits, coffee and tea. We even were offered a piece of home-made blueberry pie - delicious!
We will recommend this place to other guests.

It's a very small bed and breakfast place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is home made. And you can talk to the host at the table. He has some interesting things to tell you, like the house is run on the solar power. I could come back again.

This is a house and the family runs the b&b. They're not polished customer service people and the house and property are somewhat unkempt. But the breakfast was homemade and delicious, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the wilderness and sunset view from our bedroom and Jacuzzi tub (in the Merlin suite) was stunning. It's several miles outside town but that keeps it quiet - except for the wolves? coyotes? :)

They let us check-in at 2:45 AM and moved their breakfast time by an hour to let us enough sleep. Also let us check-out later than scheduled - definitely recommend!

They were really friendly and understanding. They let me in even though it was very late after check in hours.
