Situated in Talkeetna, this charming house for $151 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. DUE TO THE COVID 19 EVENTS WE ARE FOLLOWING CDC GUIDELINES, AND CLEANING THE UNITS WITH ANTI-BACTERIAL AND DISINFECTANT SPRAYS. Talkeetna Eastside Cabin is a family owned business located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood only 3 blocks from downtown Talkeetna and all the activities. The Nook is a sunlit unit nestled in a quiet wooded neighborhood. It has a cozy sleeping nook - 1Q, that provides extra space for large groups. The upstairs loft has 1Q and 1F. The downstairs has a kitchen/living room and bathroom. There is a sauna, bbq grill, fire pit, pavilion available to share with other guests on the campus. The Nook is approx. 600 sq. ft. Summer Season: May-September $155.00 for 1 or 2 persons $20.00 for each additional person Max capacity 6 people Winter Season: Mid Sept.-April $135.00 for 1 or 2 persons $15.00 for each additional person Max capacity 6 people Children *Prices do not include 5% bed tax and 3% sewer and water. Children 2 and under are free. Pack and Play available upon prior request.

Great place to stay in Talkeetna! Property is well taken care of, our unit was clean and well-equipped, had no noise from other guests, and the owners were very prompt with communications (we had a few). If you don't have a car then be prepared to walk a few blocks to town. There's a shortcut "bear trail" but you need waterproof shoes/boots if it's been rainy like it was for us.

Talkeetna is a great town far enough away from the hustle an bustle of the big towns but still close enough if you have to run into town for things . There’s so much to see an do there with all the tours an you can also just set out on your own hikes an self guided trips to your own destinations of choice. Possibility’s are endless when you come to a paradise like this

Small cabin but had everything a family of 4 needed for one night stay. Cabin was clean and the nook was a nice feature that our 17-year-old daughter enjoyed. Would stay again if we make it back to Talkeetna.

The cabins have everything you need. It is quiet, tucked back in the woods, and very close to all the area attractions. The Nook had nice amenities and was just as described. Communication was great. We enjoyed or brief stay and would definitely recommend. Thanks!

Well, it is a cabin, rather small, nothing fancy. It seems it is time for some refreshing. Basic amenities only however they are getting old. Painting could help. Quiet neighborhood, about 15 min walk to downtown.

This place was great. Very clean. We asked for an early check in. The communication with the property manager was EXCELLENT! The unit was a little bit smaller than expected, but still quite comfortable. Our only drawback was that there wasn’t a laundry area, and I really needed o do laundry ! Other then that I would recommend staying here.

Easy to find, quiet, lots of hot water for successive showers, it gave us all a little breathing room after hotel. Pillows could use a refresh, otherwise everything was lovely. Everyone raved about shower, they’re tall people.

We had an excellent time. We stayed in the nook, and it was very charming. We live in Anchorage and plan on returning and staying there throughout the year. We’re hoping to check out the different cabins available on the property. I would highly recommend it to friends and already have.

The location is quiet; perfect if you have bikes or can drive into town. Despite the unusually high temperatures, there is plenty of airflow with the windows and fans to be comfortable in the cabin.

Due to some mixup, the host put our family of 4 in the suite (instead of the cabin). This was a huge place with 5 or so beds and more than what we needed as a small family. The place was very clean and had all the amenities (including washer/dryer). It was a little dated, but it added to the charm. Our family loved our time there. Since we didn't stay in the nook, I don't know how that would have worked out.

Stayed here in the Nook for a couple nights during the Clean Air Challenge and it was great…clean, cozy, just enough room for two adults and two pre-teens. Kitchen allowed us to make our own breakfast one of the mornings. Only complaint - and this is somewhat individual preference- the bed I slept on upstairs was waaaay too hard so I didn’t get much sleep and when I switched to the couch halfway through the first night of course it was too short because it’s a loveseat. So I’m quite tired now. But the rest of my family slept just fine so maybe just me.

Nice compact place. We just needed a clean place to stay the night and this did the job! When we had a question about how to use the heat, it was answered quickly even though it was a bit late at night. Thank you!
