We loved everything about this hotel!

We had a fantastic stay at Solest Takachiho Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. One of the biggest highlights was the location! It made it incredibly easy to reach Takachiho Gorge early in the morning for our rowboat reservation, which ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip. The hotel is also conveniently close to the evening Kagura performance and several dining options, making it the perfect base for exploring Takachiho.
Our room exceeded expectations. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and having an outdoor patio was a wonderful bonus that made the stay feel even more relaxing.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the free on-site self parking, which made getting around by car very convenient.
The only minor downside was that the hotel restaurant was fully booked for dinner during our stay, so we didn’t get a chance to try it. That said, everything else about the experience was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again.

Parking is good, location is central. But it's better to have a car to get around as it is a small village

Beautiful entrance and lobby. Rooms are smaller but have everything you need and some with amenities provided. Close to Gorge and Shrine. Feels like a mountain town. Loved it!
