The Lodge is wonderful in its own way. Not a beach resort, but a mangrove garden. Many fantastic flowers and great accommodations. The central reception/bar/restaurant was very fun and beautiful. The owner is friendly and full of great suggestions for activities. However the drive to the place was full of huge potholes whichb were often full of rainwater. I was honestly scared to get out of the taxi, when we arrived in the dark and there was not a well-lit or well- managed welcome area.

Very friendly staff. This is perfect if you want to relax from the city sound and all impressions. Located 45 min from Stone Town. Very green, almost as you located in a forest. Bush babies you can frequently see early mornings and evenings. Outside shower for each house. Good breakfast, even better dinner, good value for money.
