I had my reservations but I actually really enjoyed my stay there (3 nights). The onsen facilities are nice (and fun!), the breakfast is simple but lovely and freshly cooked to order, it’s a decent location with plenty of nice eateries nearby and the Ari BTS very (easy to get to from the airport by public transport) just a few mins walk.
The staff were lovely and I’ll defo be staying here again on my next trip.
The building works next door were a major pain in the arse during the day but they shut down at normal working hours and the evening is very peaceful. So, if you’re looking to stay there as a base, it’s not an issue.
Also, I was worried that the ‘facilities’ would be really noisy in the evenings but they simply aren’t. In fact, If you don’t use the onsen facilities, you’d almost not know it was there.
