Perfectly reasonable stay. The hotel was fine. Drinks and food were average. The staff were nice. The spa was not good - no robes, and no presumed pre-massage shower and so on. The room had a sulfury smell - likely due to plumbing issues - but I aired it out by opening the balcony. The bed was comfortable. No major issues, but not special either.

Room was in good condition. Slept for 12 hours after plane ride. On 3rd night as I was trying to fallasleep, random guy knocked 4X at 2 AM. I dont know anyone in Mexico so I thought someone is trying to rob or rape a tourist, so I did not open door. Nothing good happens at 2 am. Next morning, hotel staff moved me to different room.

Beautiful small hotel. Business minded. Simple. Elegant. Great water pressure. Staff was super sweet and efficient. Food park across the street for delicious meals. The rooftop pool and bar were fun.

Caution regarding pool bar ! If you are putting on room tab be sure to check you are only paying for your drinks ! Better system would be for guests to go up to bar to pay for drinks !!

Nice hotel in great location. The only complaint is the beds are a little firm for my liking. I wish they would update the mattresses or else our mattress toppers so the beds would feel more resort style.

I booked Hotel Mio, because it was close to where I had to be the next day and they sent me to a sister hotel which was all inclusive and was not able to eat or drink there. I had to walk a long distance under heavy rain to the hotel that I originally reserved to finally be able to eat and drink. The staff was unsupportive and unempathetic.

Checked in and as soon as we got our room , they gave us a downgraded room. I paid for grand view. Also didn’t get my silver reward of a food voucher and had to ask( front desk staff not efficient).When we finally got it we used it at the pool and had issues getting it redeemed , made us run around with front desk to get it redeemed . I guess they gave us a spa voucher in error. Not our fault it was there’s . No apology nothing , just pissed us off to say we didn’t pay and for us to resolve it. Room was very clean every day thanks to Gabella! We choose to buy breakfast up front with our booking and it was satisfactory , eggs cooked to your choice and lots of fruit and pastries, service was good! Pool area is nice, great view and clean. You can order drinks and food but beware if you bring a small bag of chips or snacks the very rude supervisor tells you ….you can’t bring outside food! Really ? Not even water bottle from your room ! No sign says that anywhere. You have to order from them And you can’t charge it to your room , just cash or credit. That’s just dumb. I guess pool and breakfast restaurant operate separate . Be aware Hotel is next to busy highway so very noisy . Lots of food places close by for dinner LaDolce was great . Two shopping malls close by . A high end and low end across the street. No beach access.

Due to change in scheduled flight I had to stay an additional night and stayed at the Hotel Mio. My new flight time was scheduled in the afternoon. I informed the hotel and they said I can remain the lobby reception until my prepaid transport picked me up. I asked them to please notify us as soon as the transportation arrives several times, as they had different staff in the reception desk. My transport came in and we were on our way to airport when he informed us that he had called Hotel to notify he was there to pick us up and the receptionist told him we had already left and had check out. Luckily the driver was told to get off and check in the reception before leaving. Was disappointed as they could see we were still there, and I could have lost my transportation due to miscommunication. Other than that it was a nice clean hotel. Breakfast buffet was great. Thanks

My big issue was the loud, loud singing most of the day and every night until 9:30 or so. It was just noise to me; I like classical music. I was just one floor below the roof so maybe a lower floor would have been less irritating. Most staff were great, but there was one in the breakfast room who was snooty and unfriendly.

Nice hotel and great views. I saw that this was a 4-star hotel when booked, but it's really a very nice 3-star. Linens were a little worn out and rough. Pool area was fantastic, as was view and cleanliness. Noise was not an issue. We were on 3rd floor, closer to ocean.

The property didn’t have a beach or ocean view. The water in the pool and jacuzzi was cold. The food was mediocre. We were told to go to the Fiesta Americana Hotel, next to the Mio Hotel to access the beach. However we were not told that we could only lay in the beach with our towel . We sat on a bench that was some distance from one of their pools and were told that we were not allowed to sit there or consume food or drinks unless we paid $85 dollars per person. Mio should have advised us of that. So we left. I definitely will never ever recommend Mio Hotel, our vacation was ruined and we were extremely disappointed and frustrated all the six days we were there. My other two friends who had never been to Mexico and which I had invited will never return. This experience was not what they expected after paying for something we didn’t get . I highly recommend that you don’t represent or sell this hotel

Loved the rooftop pool and bar. Adults only so no loud kids around the pool. Right on the main highway through town so you hear traffic from your balcony. With the door closed it was quiet.Breakfast buffet looked good ( did not try it) but the food from the poolside menu was very sub-par. All in all very good stay, was just what we were looking for.

Front desk was extremely rude about asking for my service dog's certificate when I showed them online it's not required. She didn't know I understand spanish and started making fun of me to the staff member next to her. I've stayed here before and loved it, but after this experience and the way I was treated I will never again. Not to mention the service at the pool took SO long, food was cold and disgusting. So disappointed.

Liked that the property was adult only. Water and ice provided. Being unable to secure a second key for my roommate was extremely difficult. Would have liked a microwave oven and coffee machine in room.

This was the best hotel on the strip in my opinion for the following reasons: 1) it's adult only. It's a different vibe 2) they allow pets 3) the staff is super friendly 4) it's the last hotel on the strip so you're closer to downtown *I have nothing bad to say about the hotel but more the location. Yuck! All the resorts are bunched up there. There's not a lot of places to eat within walking distance, the prices are jacked cause of tourists, VERY AMERICAN. There's a mall with American stores not far (yuck) and like big American "steak" restaurants. It's very noisy (constant traffic) and the water is murky in that part of the ocean My advice: Rent a car!! Drive to other prettier beaches, you can drive to all the "good" local restaurants (and trust me, they are all good), you can drive to downtown, the mountains, the coastline. Don't limit yourself to just this area. Parking is free at the hotel and driving in Mexico is fine. Just don't speed and you'll be fine. The hotel pool and gym are great and the views from the rooftop are phenomenal. Probably the best in Puerta Vallarta!

Very cool adult only dog friendly hotel. Rooftop pool awesome with great views and comfortable seating. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Room was very modern and comfortable too, some traffic noise even at 8th floor, quiet enough at night. Near restaurants and shopping.

Our ocean view room was nice, shower was large, bed was comfy. Rooftop pool is beautiful, unfortunate that paying hotel guests cannot bring their own beverages to the rooftop pool. If you would like a drink you need to pay a hefty price. Overall good stay, would stay again

Upon arrival on Thursday December 28 @ 8 pm we were told there had been a water leak upon arrival at Hotel Mio. So they had no room for us. They told us they were full and made a reservation at Holiday express. Then we found out the real reason was they were actually over booked. Honesty and telling the truth are paramount business principles that are missing in this case. We were given no notice. Not by either hotel or Expedia.

Very clean and comfortable with a great roof top pool. Good breakfast buffet. Room service but no dine in service in restaurant and beach access is through an adjacent resort.
