Great little place. The surrounding area is beautiful, and the rooms are well-maintained with good air conditioning. It is a little bit of a walk from the main road, but the walk itself is pleasant, and directions on the path to the guesthouse make it easy for your first time finding it.

Our room was very tidy and clean. It was quite compact, but everything we needed for our short stopover, conveniently close to the airport, but also the cable car to the big Buddha.on Lantau Island. The host could not be more helpful providing advice and directions.
The main issue that will cause hesitation for some is the 850m walk up to the village, beside a stream, through a wooded area. We did it in the dark and felt completely safe.

I stayed simply because I had a 13 hour layover. With the instructions, the place is not hard to find. The host was very very helpful, even when I was late for my check-in. He carefully explained to me how to use the amenities and even how to take the bus back in the early morning for the airport. He’s very knowledgeable on local transportation.
I would definitely stay here again.
One thing, though, I was only travelling with a backpack, so it wasn’t too difficult to walk through the forest to the location. If you have big luggage, it might prove a little tiresome to get there. Just something to keep in mind for travellers.
Also, I used a blue taxi from the airport to get there and the bus to get back. As the host recommended, if you are travelling light, it’s better to take the bus.
