Hotel set up a taxi to pick me up at airport with set $ and I was taken to my room upon arrival. Bedroom had AC on so it was cool. Breakfast was filling and when I messages that I needed transportation to next location, they called and arranged it for me

We always have a wonderful time when we stay at skylight. Our five-year-old calls it “the happy hotel” 😂. The restaurant is beautiful. The food is delicious. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing. We always feel so welcome.

Beautiful location with nice view of the ocean. The staff/service was outstanding, all of the help made us feel welcomed! The food, both breakfast and dinner were very good. We would definitely come back!

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay while in Puerto Plata, DR look no further. While the hotel is not as big as others what is has to offer is far beyond. Beautiful setting, amazing staff, very comfortable rooms with full kitchens and the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast is included in your stay and Bar staff will find you at the pool for your drink order. I did not get everyone’s name but Lordy(manager) Jennifer(front desk) and Juan(bar tender) were just a few of the wonderful staff. We will be back!

I had an absolutely great time at Skylight Suites. Every member of the staff was welcoming , kind and caring. I was greeing with people with genuine energy. I had woke up to great coffee and amazing drinks. I can recommend this place to anyone. Thank you amazing hospitality.

First, the good: nice staff, new and clean and spacious. Breakfast was also good. It's located a stone's throw from Ocean World with good views. Not good: they have a hot water issue: even when the instant-hot unit was finally turned out, it was impossible to get more than a few moments of hot (burning hot) water from it. Maybe defective, maybe an inferior make of heater. Also, the main room gets VERY hot. There's a fan, but it's useless; purchased for its novel design, not for any effectiveness. We had an outage of Internet and TV after 830 pm or so, discovering they depended on one provider for both - service was not restored. The AC unit (there's just one) inside the bedroom rumbled and clanked LOUDLy all night. This hotel needs to reconsider its water heating, fans, and AC setup to be a good choice.

Had an excellent experience at this small but very well located and maintained hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and fully equipped. All the staff on site were excellent, Im talking 5 star type customer service. The restaurant, bar and pool on site were excellent and made it easy to just hang out at the family in between local day trips. Just an excellent hotel overall.

Stayed for one night and was great. Across the street from the beach. Owner assisted with transportation to and from airport which made the trip that much easier. Restaurant was good other than having limited options due to being out of stock on a bunch of dishes. Would stay here again and do recommend staying here.

This hotel is excellent is my second time there. I highly recommend it. Friendly staff, the amenities and the proximity to the beach and Ocean world are excellent. The food is great if you want to visit Puerto Plata this is the hotel for you. Is 16 minutes from the city center and the staff is really accommodating.

Wow what a beautiful ,fresh and clean place! The beach is literally across the street! Exceptional restaurant and the entire hotel staff was accommodating. The manager made sure we had everything we needed with a very personal touch. To all the Expedia travels this is a small place either a very BIG payoff . Must stay!
