About this house rental
This is our guest house. It is a cozy 2 bed 1 bath ranch home. Has all the amenities and comforts of home and located near Ferdinand State Forest. Large master bedroom with queen sized mattress. Guest bedroom with two full sized beds. Both bedrooms are across from the tiled bathroom. Laundry room at the end of the hall way between bathroom and master bedroom. Hardwood floors in main living area and bedrooms. A nice size tiled kitchen with open dining and living space and wood burning fireplace. TV is in the living room area with WIFI availability. The house sleeps five guest across two bedrooms and additional sleeping options in the living areas (sectional couch with pull out full sized bed)

This was our THIRD stay. Why? Because it feels like home.I wouldn't seek out a hunter's lodge vibe of a place to stay, but we found this place on accident a few years ago and love it. It is just a short drive from where we attend our annual family reunion. It is a great place! We have done Holiday World, a day at Patoka Lake and an afternoon in Jasper, shopping and site seeing, as well as attended a car show in Huntingburg. We love driving back the gravel drive and being greeted by Koda. The owners are right there on the same lot if you were to need anything. We never seem to need a thing, as we do shopping before arriving, as a grocery store is 15 min or so away. It is so helpful to have a full kitchen for breakfast making and lunch packing. The open floor plan of the living room/kitchen makes it a good space to relax as a family, together. Our kiddo was also able to do an online class while there. From the front porch, there are stars to see at night, as well as butterflies and bunnies to watch in the morning with your coffee. Clean, comfortable and a family favorite for us!
