NOT WORTH THE HASSLE
Proximity to the water and the space. The hot tub was nice although it had a lot of sand in it. Also the different things in the game room were nice as well as access to the washer and dryer as I did not trust the cleanliness of the linens.
The property isn't in a very walkable neighborhood . It wasn't cleaned properly. We found urine, hair, smudges and food on common touch areas. The list went on. Dirty dishes with sour food on it. Despite my many requests during our stay, nothing was done to correct the problems. We didn't get soap in any of the bathrooms except 1, which looked like something that was left over from a previous guest. We ran out of toilet paper within the first 24 hours. None of the bathrooms had a full roll to start with. Also after reading one of the other reviews I realized that all the dust and debris that I found in the basement apparently came from the construction that needed to be done in February. I am so disappointed with my stay. While I would love to return to this house for the size, layout and the view, I am certain that it will not be properly cleaned and that if there are any problems Vacasa will do nothing to fix it.

I book a house for my sisters and my nieces (this year my nephew also came) every year in February to celebrate my birt
The location…perfect! Plenty of space! We loved the basement area with games for the kids to enjoy. It was also nice having 2 floors with bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors. The fire pit out by the water was perfect. Kitchen was beautiful. We loved the metal cups and wine glasses. Very cool. There were plenty of seats everywhere. The deck was amazing and we enjoyed sitting out there enjoying the beautiful water view. It was quiet and pristine.
The hot water stopped working shortly into our trip. The maintenance guys came out the next day and were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable, but could not fix the problem that day. It was too late in the day. Apparently my message about the hot water got buried with some of the other issues (the beeping in the basement that kept my nieces awake all night and the leak in the ceiling of their bedroom) and did not reach them until early that evening. They came out around 530pm and tried to fix it but a couple showers later I had a bunch of girls with shampoo in their hair because their showers ran freezing cold a few minutes in. The next day they were able to fix the hot water issue. Vacasa suggested to move us because of the leaky ceiling being a safety issue. However, the only comparable property (which was on the water, like this one) did not accept dogs…but we had our dogs with us. Why suggest other properties where we could NOT bring our dogs? We only had 3 nights and a lot of my time was spent dealing with these issues. On our last night (Saturday) a neighbor came out at 11:01 PM to tell us to turn our music down… there were three of us out there, and it was not loud. She was not nice and we felt like a bunch of teenagers being reprimanded at a keg party. It was very disappointing. To top it off it took Vacasa over 24 hours of me asking for a later checkout to finally tell me NO. It didn’t matter that half of my trip was spent dealing with these issues, they were not willing to give me two extra hours to check out. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
