This was our first time staying at this house. Lindy was a great host. She answered questions I had prior to our stay and was very accommodating and responsive. The house was stocked with amenities including needed supplies (soap, towels, toilet paper, paper towel) and also had a good supply of cookware, bowls, pans etc needed if you want to cook meals during your stay, which we did. The beds were comfortable and the house itself was the perfect size for our family of four. The location was great. We could walk to town or drive and we did a little bit of both. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had another great stay at this cottage! This is the third year that my husband, two children, and I have stayed at this same house. It's a great spot for us to be close to Elk Lake for boating and close to town. The cottage is always clean, and the property manager is very responsive with all communication. We will be back again next summer!

House exactly as pictured and described. Perfect location, close to beaches in town and also quick drive to Traverse City and Torch Lake. We stayed with our 4 kids and it worked out great!

Lindy’s home was the perfect place for our family to spend a week up north in the summertime. The location is awesome with easy walking/driving access to elk rapids, and a short trip to traverse city, bellaire, and charlevoix. Lindy was responsive and super helpful. Nothing but good things to say!

Lovely little home in a really cute town. The host was great, and provided us with ideas for our weekend stay. We were close enough to walk to the park/beach. The lake was beautiful! The home had everything we needed including cozy blankets and kitchen basics. We would absolutely stay again!

We have had our family vacation UpNorth for 20+ years now and found this home to be a perfect mix of being very convenient to the water (especially for catching nightly sunsets!), shops/restaurants in ER, easy drive to Torch Lake, Traverse, Sleeping Bear, The Peninsula, and removed enough from the activity to feel like a retreat. The property was very clean which in turn contributed to it being quite comfortable. The beds/linens were comfortable and snuggly throws were available for the cool evenings. There were ample towels, including beach towels available for use (which helps cut down on the amount of items you need to pack). The kitchen was well appointed with supplies for cooking that allowed us to take a break from eating out for a few meals. Just a side note, the refrigerator was empty so you need to be prepared with any condiments or anything you may need to cook (which to me is to be expected since the increased awareness of the need for limiting spread of germs). While we only needed to use it the first day, the A/C provided welcome relief from the 95* heat. The owner was clear in their expectations during our stay and for when we left, and although we didn't have the need ~ they provided their phone number for any questions or concerns. The four of us each (husband, daughter and son-in-law) agreed that we would add this property to our favorites list for future trips. Thank you Taylor for sharing your home and for your hospitality.

The property is well appointed for comfort. There are a few suggestions for improvement which I addressed with the owner. Over all our stay was pleasant. The house is well situated for walking to the park, city & water.

I stayed at this property in August 2021 with my husband and two children. It was a beautiful house! Everything was clean and well-decorated. There were plenty of towels, both bath towels and beach towels. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. We loved staying in Elk Rapids! We would definitely return again.

This Elk Rapids cottage home became the perfect place for our family to kick back and relax after our busy days at the beach, golfing, shopping and exploring. This cottage worked out great for our family. We are already hoping to plan another stay!

Wonderful home. Worked very well with 2 families staying here. Repair man came next day when the washer wasn't working. I do suggest you add some fun board games, more kitchen towels, toilet paper, and miscellaneous things like that. Otherwise, beautiful home!

Amazing location and great remote work home!

Some friends and I stayed in this property to work remotely. The home layout and space was super helpful for us each to have our own spaces. The homes location is one of my favorites in Elk Rapids. Morning walks to the Day Park and lunch break runs to take a dip in the water. Highly recommend staying here!

The house was spotless and very nice and updated. Check in was very smooth. The owner also left us a very nice note and a welcome gift which was an awesome touch! My fiancé also loved sitting but the front windows and reading. Overall awesome experience!

Very nice rental. Super clean and great location. We had an issue with sink/ dishwasher and the property manager addressed promptly. Nice grill and plenty of clean linens. Netflix too! Would definitely stay again!

Overall attractive furnishings, clean linens on beds and towels.. however the house smelled very musty, carpets needed to be cleaned and were damp, dishwasher was broken upon arrival .. to be honest we left a day early due to conditions.. property owner sent out repair crew, they ordered a new dishwasher so hopefully it will be installed for the next guests

The house was just as described. It was clean with updated appliances, good wifi and a flatscreen tv, and furniture was in good shape. It was located within walking distance to the beach, park, and downtown Elk Rapids. In addition Taylor was a helpful, responsive host.
