The fact we arrived early and property manager let us check in after some minor adjustments he was very professional and understanding when you walk in you are hit with cleaning effect felt like home
I could tell someone past guests didn't treat home with respect little things like burns on sinks and there's no smoking in property tub in king room needs a really good cleaning or replacement needs a little painting carpet had stains just alittle

The location was great and it had the number of bedrooms and bathrooms we needed for our stay.
The king bed was either broken, or not assembled properly, so the mattress went downhill. Also the light in the walk in closet was out and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. We explained these things to the owner and they assured that they would get someone working on them.

The close proximity to my relatives.
First impression was not good. The place did not resemble the photo online. Plus, the grass had not been cut and the drive up to the house is not paved, just gravel, sand and tree roots. Kinda rough. Upon entering there was an unpleasant odor like rotting food although there was no trash. It appeared to be clean and neat, however, there were some concerns. There were small black bugs in the hallway bathroom. Unsure what they were. One of the beds appeared to be leaning to one side. The smoke alarm was not attached to the ceiling, it was hanging by the cords. Wasn't sure if it worked because we were afraid to touch it. The towels and washcloths were dingy and did not appear very clean so we went and got our own. There were no hangers at all. This seemed odd since most people hang their clothes, so we bought those as well. Also, there were a few bugs in the master bathroom. We arrived back late the first night and hadn't turned on the car port light. It was very dark. We used the car lights to see up to the house to turn it on but the switch didn't work. The next day I called the contact number and relayed the problem. I am pleased too note the lights were working upon our return. The best thing about the property was the location. We were only five minutes from the family. Although, the place is nice it lacks warmth. It seems like just the bare minimum is done in between bookings. Generally, you put out the best for your guest, but this was not the case. Not sure if I would book again. Almost forgot there was a dead bug on the floor over by the chair and lamp in the livingroom,, you might want to remove it before the next booking. One more thing. Can you consider putting a dresser in each room so guest can put clothes in a drawer if necessary.
