We had no wifi the entire time we started there ( 8 days) after contacting the agent numerous times. The apartment has no parking so get in early to get street parking and we left our car there all week. Also apartment has no air con. We had the 3 (somewhat rusty) fans all moved into the main bedroom as it was the middle of Summer. Apart from that location was great and apartment was clean.

The renting process was seamless and the support from staff at Team MadeComfy was exceptionally good. The apartment is in a great location and is on the ground floor giving easy access to the beach (a plus for the two mothers, my daughter and daughter-in-law, who had a five month old and a fifteen month old respectively). Unfortunately, one ground floor bedroom had no security or fly screen, one ground floor bedroom had security screen but no fly screen and third ground floor bedroom had a security screen with fly screen that was resting in the window frame but it was not attached. The living areas facing the street had no screens. This meant that we had to sleep with all windows closed - very challenging as there was no air conditioning or ceiling fans. The three pedestal fans were totally inefficient during the hot nights. The lack of air conditioning wasn’t mentioned. Unfortunately, the sliding toilet door came off the rails and jammed. MadeComfy staff sent someone very quickly to fix it but unfortunately it came off the tracks again during the night when my heavily pregnant daughter-in-law got up in the night. Fortunately the door didn’t fall in anyone but it could have and had it done so on my 15 month granddaughter … MadeComfy refunded a night without being asked. A very fair response to the apartment challenges. MadeComfy provided an excellent service. Thank you Team MadeComfy!

Unit was in a fantastic position across from patrolled beach. Beautifully presented and clean. Ample bedding. Will book again in the future!

For the money that we paid this apartment was not up to standard. It was not cleaned properly they were potato chips underneath the dining room table. The blind has been taped on to the roller and had fallen off on the floor when we got there. I did not realise that the apartment did not have any fans or any air conditioning or any parking that we were told about. The position of the apartment is great right on the Esplanade.

The property was not clean in a number of areas. We found a piece of glass on the floor in the kitchen. A screw in the floor in the hallway at bathroom entrance. The dishwasher was full on arrival. My 15 month old’s knees where black within minutes of crawling on the floor, and after a further look noticed there was lots of dirt, fluff and other bits and pieces all over the floor. The bath was rusty and had dirt and a finger or toenail in it. There was dirty toilet paper at the top of the shower. A dirty toilet rim. There was rubbish in one of the wardrobes. There was rubbish on the rug in the tv area. Mould in the silicone in the shower. Sand in the kitchen sink. Dirty light switches. Price tags and stickers left on furniture, which isn’t an issue, just unprofessional for the price. The tv did not work. Netflix app did not work and there was no access to TV stations. No other access to streaming. We did try the YouTube app and when we opened it porn appeared on one of the tabs. We have a 5 year old. We booked this accommodation and spent decent money on somewhere nice knowing it was going to be raining all weekend, so as we didn’t have access to watch any movies or TV this wasn’t what we had paid for. We found the images posted online we’re very misleading. Photos all showed a renovated property. However on arrival we noted that only parts of the property were renovated and others were old, run down and in a poor state.
