Nếu bạn đang tìm một nơi để thật sự chậm lại giữa núi rừng Sa Pa thì mình rất muốn giới thiệu Cloud Boat Homestay (Thuyền Mây), Lao Chải.
Điều mình thích nhất ở đây không phải là căn phòng đẹp hay đồ ăn ngon, mà là cảm giác bình yên. Homestay nằm ngay giữa thung lũng Mường Hoa, mở cửa sổ ra là những thửa ruộng bậc thang nối tiếp nhau và những dãy núi lúc ẩn lúc hiện trong mây. Chỉ cần ngồi yên với một tách cà phê cũng đủ thấy chuyến đi đáng giá.
Phòng được làm chủ yếu bằng gỗ, sạch sẽ, ấm cúng và rất hài hòa với thiên nhiên. Buổi sáng thức dậy nghe tiếng chim, tối đến lại yên tĩnh đến mức chỉ còn tiếng côn trùng và gió núi. Đúng kiểu chữa lành mà không cần cố gắng.
Đồ ăn ở đây cũng rất ngon, đặc biệt là các món địa phương được nấu đơn giản nhưng đậm đà. Nhân viên và chủ homestay thì cực kỳ thân thiện, luôn nhiệt tình hỗ trợ nhưng không tạo cảm giác gò bó. Mình cảm nhận được sự hiếu khách rất tự nhiên.
Nếu có một điều khiến mình nhớ nhất sau khi rời Cloud Boat, thì đó là cảm giác nhẹ. Nhẹ như mây trôi qua thung lũng, như những buổi chiều chỉ ngồi ngắm mưa rơi trên ruộng bậc thang mà chẳng cần làm gì cả.
Rất đáng để quay lại, nhất là với những ai muốn tạm rời xa sự vội vã của thành phố để tìm vài ngày bình yên giữa thiên nhiên

Stayed for an extra 2 nights had a lovely stay, family and their animals are very sweet, the food was amazing. Best breakfast selection in sapa!

The view is amazing. The free breakfast offered was good with some selection (although you have to pay extra for coffee!).
Mold in the room, uneven stair access, loud music, thin walls. If you like what I equate to 1960 American hippie vibe, you’ll love this place and it’s a fun hangout for a few days! It might be an age thing (I’m older). Mold in the fabrics of the room was a big challenge for me to sleep - I gave it 2 nights to be sure - and despite it being a health concern I had a big issue getting out of my reservation to move somewhere else that would work for me, also having to pay an exit cancellation fee. Of course, I understand this is their livelihood, but moldy rooms can really harm sensitive people and need to be ready for the cases where it doesn’t work for guests. I was offered another room but they’re all set up with mattresses on the floor - the biggest culprit to trapping mold. I also found the stair access dodgy, the music too loud, and the simple walls thin…but the food was good and the views incredible! Just review all the photos and you’ll have an accurate picture - except for photos can’t tell you about the mold.
