Our stay here was super comfortable and pleasing!

The woman who let us in so late was extremely kind. The facility was very clean and comfortable! It was not noisy, very easy to sleep.

One night in Balaguer

Balaguer is a charming town by the river Segre. The rooms at the hostal are located on top of a bar in an old charming house by the river. It is close to the older parts of the city and Església de Santa Maria. In most cases the key to your room will be waiting for you on the counter but we did a late booking and had help from the bar owner to call the staff. A man quickly arrived and cleared all the details. The room was clean and the beds comfortable but the room were not soundproofed so if you're sensitive bear that in mind. The bar/ restaurant downstairs was great for eating and having a drink and having breakfast. They made really good coffe and the bocadillios were made when you placed your order. Very fresh and the owners extremely hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay, the stroll by the river and the old parts of the small town of Balaguer and if we return we'll definitely stay at Hostal Sant Miguel again.

Good location and good value for money if you want only to rest.

Location was perfect, at the road I used for my journey by bije, and room was excellent for the price, clean and up to standard. Good view and light, so perfect, if you want only rest: mo rooms for anything else, but this suited me.

First night, noise from the bar in the entrance, the terrace was full of drunkards,m the night was hot and my window was opened. Second night, noises from the next room neighbours, having a "meeting"...I wasn't a real problesm, I was sotired... Congratulations to both of them!!

Nice location and view, but tiny room and wc.

Nice location (close to old town), nice view over the river, and a private (tiny) wc. They gave me the room 17 - which I recommend (even though is tiny and just for one person). Fair for up to 2 nights.

The front desk is always empty. If you want to talk to somebody, you will need to call them by phone. I´ve seen a wc on the corridor, so perhaps some rooms have to share it. I did not see any kitchen or laundry.
