About this cabin rental
Our secluded and cozy cabin, Carra’s Cabin, is one of three of our Sandy Cut Cabins options. It’s furnished with one bedroom, full sized bathroom and updated kitchen accommodations. The deck features a private Hot Tub, a grill and outdoor dining area for the perfect ending to a perfect day of exploring.
Carra’s Cabin is best suited for 2 adults, not suitable for children of any age. The driveway is steep at the bottom but levels off. Follow the driveway to the end for Carra’s Cabin. We have 2 other cabins on the property but each is secluded and private. The lockbox is located on the cabin near the hot tub and the key fits the french door.

Overall experience was excellent, recommend this as a great place to stay for couples looking for a quiet, peaceful time together. For the money, I think it was very good value. The hosts were also wonderful to us and very quick to answer any questions we had. Some details: the cabin is set back a ways off the road, but was easy to find with the instructions given. Everything was clean and well taken care of inside and out. It is what you would imagine when you think cozy, but the 2 of us were very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked very well, no issues with being too hot or cold. No issues with streaming on WiFi, brought my own Roku, not sure what they have for apps. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing, plenty of space for 2 people. There is enough there to cook a good meal with, including cookware, utensils, and seasonings. Toaster and microwave and coffee maker there as well as the stove (gas), oven, and refrigerator. It's probably about 20 minutes to get to a grocery store so not bad. There are a couple small towns in the area as well and Asheville is less than an hour and had some great restaurants. Weather wasn't great while we were there, but we didn't mind. Most of our time was spent in the cabin just relaxing and spending quality time together. It's not flashy or fancy, but it was perfect for what we were looking for, quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Very cozy cabin for two! The hot tub was great and the amenities were very helpful for our stay. Since it rained the whole weekend, we were grateful for the Smart TV and the ability to hook up the Switch to it. We drove out to Asheville the first day and it really was not too far away. If you are not a confident driver, just be aware that the driveway coming up to this cabin is quite steep. But the first part is paved which makes it easier. A very nice anniversary stay overall!

We had a lovely time celebrating our 25th Anniversary! It was so quiet and peaceful! We chose to get supplies in near by Hendersonville and stay in. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cater for ourselves. A perfect hideaway for couples looking to get away from it all!

the lockbox code on two of the cabins were the same code, created confusion once up on the mountain and only one cabin visible from the road, the lockbox on the wrong cabin ended up unlocking with the code that was provided, stayed in the wrong cabin on accident one night. had to leave wedding early to move items. owner threatened to move our stuff if we weren’t to get back to move all of our stuff out. we complied. also was accused of turning off hot tub disconnect AFTER the cleaning lady had came through and cleaned the hot tub in the other cabin.
