The place was absolutely amazing and lived up to everything that was advertised. The host was fantastic, and when we arrived, everything was already prepared for us, from the keys to the rooms, making check-in effortless.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and I especially loved the fireplace, which made the cold evening feel warm and cozy. Although there is no TV, we quickly realized we didn't need one. The breathtaking views from the house provided all the entertainment and relaxation we could ask for. The house has enough board games to keep you occupied later in the evening.
A special thanks to Shirley for recommending the 5 km Park Run. It was a wonderful way to start the day and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Nothing to add here; everything was perfect for me. The house is in a great location.

Paradise View Guesthouse is a wonderful place for anyone who enjoys beautiful natural views, peace, and a calm atmosphere. We truly felt at home away from home. The environment is very welcoming and relaxing, making it a perfect place to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Paradise View Guesthouse to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a peaceful getaway.

Shirley, the owner, was exceptionally kind and gracious! She communicated with us through WhatsApp and responded quickly to any questions we had. She was a font of information about things to do in Graskop and the surrounding towns. The facilities were wonderful! We left a previous accommodation because they didn’t have any heat in the middle of winter. Not only did our studio have a heater, there were also electric mattress heaters as well to make a cozy environment. Not only did we have our private studio, we also had access to the upstairs areas, including a sunny and bright breakfast patio, complete with a full espresso machine and light breakfast options like cereal and yogurt. There was also a living room where we could light a fire and hang out with fellow guests. There is a marvelous hiking trail nearby. We have stayed in over one hundred hotels and Airbnbs, and this was one of our favorites!
Everything was excellent. The only issue we had was that it took a long time to get hot water out of the bathroom and kitchen sinks; we had no such problems with the shower, which was such a luxuriously updated unit! I felt bad for wasting water, which I know is a precious resource in SA.
