We had the most amazing stay, and had the whole place to ourselves. Relaxing by the pool was a highlight! Orange juice on arrival was a lovely touch. Restaurant attached with really good food and reasonable prices (they even made us some boiled eggs and pineapple juice to take to the airport as we were missing breakfast for our early flight). The view from our room was spectacular, perfect position to watch the sunset!
The staff were lovely and very helpful in organising a driver for us to get to the airport early. They also offer free transport from the accomodation down to ocam-ocam beach.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable, shower pressure was great and bathrooms were clean!
Definitely regret not staying an extra day just to unwind and relax!
The road on the way in is steep in parts and unsealed road (not ideal after rain) - something to keep in mind if arriving by scooter.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ocam Ocam Azur Inn and would return without hesitation.
What makes this place so special are Rachel and Mar Mar. Their kindness, personal care, and genuine warmth go far beyond anything you would normally expect. They look after their guests with so much attention and heart that you never feel you’re missing anything — quite the opposite, you feel deeply cared for.
The hotel is beautifully and quietly located on a hill, surrounded by jungle, with breathtaking sea views on three sides. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. From our terrace, we even watched a monkey moving through the trees — an unforgettable moment.
The beach is about a 15-minute walk downhill; the way back takes a bit longer due to some steep sections. Alternatively, Mar Mar is happy to give you a ride on his tricycle, which is both convenient and fun.
Rachel is an excellent cook and prepares everything fresh — the food was consistently delicious and made with great care.
The rooms are simple and rather spartan, but very tastefully and artistically designed, which fits perfectly with the natural surroundings and relaxed atmosphere.

We had electricity outage from 8am to 5pm for 3 days and only 1 day the generator was on. Standard situation in rural Philippines, just so you know
Beach nearby less suitable for swimming (rocky / plants) but very nice for kayaking, the sand, the relaxed vibe, friendly community

The view. The style of hotel.
The location is on top of a mountain, so transportation is needed to get to the beach. It is about a 30-minute walk and very steep in some places. When we arrived, there was nobody to help with the suitcases. We were a group of eight with many kids, which made it very difficult.
Breakfast portions were extremely small. For teenagers, we had to order double portions and were charged extra for this.
We booked an island-hopping tour. At first, staff told us that food was included, but later this was charged separately. Everything was very confusing and unclear. Island hopping is the main attraction, so it is hard to understand why this was so poorly managed.
