Dang dang Balbago Beach was one of the highlights of our trip. We wish we could've stayed longer. If you're looking for a peaceful off the beaten path escape, this is it! The simple bamboo huts are beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and steps away from their beach. During our stay, we were lucky enough to stay in a beach hut with their newly built open air private bathroom, which was our favorite feature. What really makes this place special though, is the people. It's a family run business and you can feel the love and care that everyone puts into making guests feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind and hospitable and they cooked us a traditional Filipina dinner too. They went out of their way to collect us from the nearby port because the road access was limited owing to construction and rain damage. If you appreciate tranquility, hospitality and exclusivity without the crowds, I can't recommend this place enough!!

They provided boat transportation into and out of the location.
There is nowhere to swim adjacent to the beach due to a wide reef that extends several hundred meters out from the shore.
