The location is just beautiful and peaceful. Getting there takes some effort but it’s worth the journey. Meg and Shaun the owners are so gracious to invite you into their home. It’s a very unique experience but very memorable. I miss it already.
The brown outs from
the power company made things a little sticky without a/c for a period but eventually their generator on the property fixed the problem.

My stay at Kubotique was truly one of the highlights of my time in Palawan. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this is far more than just a beautiful place to stay—it is a space created with genuine care, refined taste, and heartfelt hospitality.
Every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, with tasteful décor that reflects both creativity and authenticity. Falling asleep and waking up to the gentle sound of the ocean made each day feel wonderfully peaceful. Everything feels intentionally placed, creating an environment where it is easy to relax, unwind, and immediately feel at home.
The room itself is exceptionally well equipped, with countless thoughtful touches that anticipate every need—from a Nespresso machine and kettle, perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or tea on the terrace, to carefully selected amenities that reflect an extraordinary attention to detail. The spacious bathroom, equally elegant and practical, is another example of the care that has gone into creating such a comfortable stay. It is this quiet, considerate attention to detail that makes Kubotique feel so special.
What made my experience especially memorable was Meg. Her warmth, kindness, and remarkable attentiveness transform a wonderful accommodation into something truly exceptional. Her thoughtful recommendations, genuine care, and impeccable sense of timing always seemed effortless, yet they made all the difference. It is clear that Kubotique reflects not only her vision but also her heart.

La plage est magnifique et calme, il y a très peu de monde. Le lit très confortable. La machine à café Nespresso avec des capsules tous les matins 😍
La réactivité et gentillesse de Meg!
Le chemin pour y accéder est compliqué (donc plus cher) et l’emplacement est à 40min d’El Nido, mais ça vaut tout de même clairement la peine d’y aller ! (El Nido n’est pas terrible pour loger et se baigner)

De hutten zijn nieuw en het bed comfortabel.
De accommodatie is gewoon nog niet af, drie hutten zijn klaar waarvan er 2 verhuurd worden. Maar het gemeenschappelijke huis wordt nog gebouwd.
De locatie is heel erg afgelegen en de weg erheen heel slecht.
De locatie is ook niet het allermooiste van de omgeving en er wordt veel gebouwd, misschien dat het over een paar maanden mooier is maar op dit moment is het gewoon nog erg rommelig.
