Nestled in Godshill, this attractive cottage for $135 per night is a great choice for your next trip. The Annex at Barrow Cottage is a single story extension to the cottage, with use of a large garden and paddock. It is situated in one of the loveliest parts of the Isle of Wight set amidst rolling green fields and close to the picturesque village of Godshill in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is great walking country, surrounded by footpaths, yet is still just a ten minute drive to the beaches of Shanklin and Ventnor. It's great for families and for couples who just want to relax. Latest news*** we have Barn Owls nesting in our garden!

Well equipped accommodation in a really good location for practically everything. It was nice and clean and the hosts were extremely welcoming, even going as far as giving us some home grown veggies from their garden! They really did make us feel very welcome and very comfortable. They have a lovely garden which they were happy for us to enjoy. We loved the sheep too! This is the perfect base for any holidaying family and we wouldnât hesitate to stay again.

What a lovely cottage. It was everything we hoped for and more. Lovely and clean, plenty of space inside and a wonderfully big garden for the children to play in. Chris and Nicky were great hosts and couldn't do more for us. A great location to explore the beautiful island. We hope to return in the future!

Stay was very comfortable. The place was Beautiful. Very very kind and friendly. Couldnât be more accommodating. Helped with one of the kids foot on arrival. Location was great for what we were doing and not far from anywhere on island. Would 100% recommend. My only reason I could not go back is the donât have dogs to stay. We will be bringing dogs next time. But other than that. Fantastic stay.

Very comfortable, modern accomodation. Well laid out.
Chris and Nicky were so friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Access to large attractive garden was the cherry on the top. Did not see the barn owls but heard them and knew they were there. But did hear skylarks and other birds. House excellently placed in rolling countryside but close to amenities and beaches.
Thank you for a lovely stay, would love to return some time soon.

Didnât realise the property booked wasnât the cottage in the picture but the annexe down the drive but pleasantly surprised nicely laid out cosy and comfortable could do with a non slip mat for in the bath when using the shower

Quiet, well furnished with all needs met for a very enjoyable stay.We cooked nice meals in the well equipped kitchen, slept well and availed ourselves of the gorgeous surroundings by actually walking.We were well connected to media and were able to be very comfortable.

The annex to Barrow Cottage was in an excellent location for travelling around the Island. The garden was an added bonus as well and our son loved running around it and riding his bike. It was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend. We intend to return in the future.

Impeccable 2 bedroom studio with kitchen and lounge set back from the road with lovely grounds and wildlife - and even a secure shed to keep the bikes.! Very comfortable long weekend, great communication and just 400 yards from the main cycle routes round the island or a short peddle to the beach at Ventnor or Shanklin. What more could you want!!

Great place to stay for when you're holidaying on the Isle of Wight. Lots of attractions nearby and great bade for getting to different areas.

Lovely cosy cottage surrounded by beautiful garden. Met owner Nicky on check in. Lovely lady who was very helpful. We were let down by a taxi for a wedding at Appuldurcombe House and she very kindly gave us a lift. Everything in the cottage we needed and easy reach of attractions like Osbourne House, Carisbroke Castle. . Highly recommend.

Beautiful location. So quiet and peaceful. Very relaxing. What's great is that nothing is too far away. So easy to access the coast in all directions. Good walking.

Had a great week on the IOW in this excellent cottage. Well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Chris and Nicky were always on hand for any problems ( there were none!) and the bonus was the huge garden with secluded patio area for the evening wine sessions! Ideally placed to explore the island and set in beautiful countryside within a short drive to the coast. Would definitely recommend. 5*

Home from Home!
Barrow Cottage was perfect for us. The annexe was clean, comfortable ,very well equipped and in a peaceful location with off road parking.
Nicky was away, but Chris made us feel very much at home. The atmosphere was very welcoming and instantly relaxing in the large garden.
Chris was the perfect host ,very friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive.
We will be back!

Fabulous experience
A well appointed annexe in a beautiful location hosted by 2 lovely people. The accommodation was compact, nicely decorated with a small but adequate kitchen area. The beds were comfortable & the location meant it lacked any light or noise pollution. The hosts garden was lovely & they were happy for us to enjoy it. Quite likely will visit again

Friendly hosts
We enjoyed our stay at Chris and Nickiâs annexe. It was clean and adequately appointed. The garden is fabulous and we were encouraged to use it. It was quieter than expected as itâs on the main road. The best thing was meeting the owners as we have previously stayed in other properties when you never interact. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful place to stay
Nice little annex, well equipped and has a big garden for the kids to safely play. Just right for a week for a family of 3 -4. Chris and Nicky were very friendly and approachable.

Great location, lovely garden & friendly hosts
My wife, daughter and I had great time staying at this lovely cottage, which is the perfect location to all the attractions on IOW. Nicky and Chris were so friendly and accommodating.. Our 18 month daughter loved their garden especially seeing the sheep and chickens every morning. The annex was perfect for what we needed and I must say the mattress for the double bed was great ! We would definitely stay again when we return to the IOW again.

Wonderful stay
We have just spent a lovely week staying Barrow cottage. Chris and Nicky are wonderful hosts. The annex was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and a great shower. Beautiful large garden. My daughter loved feeding the sheep toast and borrowing Chris and Nickyâs lovely little dog for a game of ball. We loved staying here and even considered taking up squatters rights at one point. Thanks Chris and Nicky, hope to see you again soon.

Comfortable cottage stay , centrally located
We had a very enjoyable stay at Barrow Cottage just outside of Godshill in the centre of The Island. The accommodation is compact with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and modern and the owners were great to deal with . The garden was a great plus, being big and attractive. We will certainly consider returning in the near future.

A good location (on a bus route) for walking and exploring the island! The annex of the ownersâ cottage, in a lovely and spacious garden, provides several places for sitting outdoors. The owners are friendly and helpful when required, but otherwise unobtrusive!

We couldn't wait to return to your cottage, we have had a wonderful mini break in spring. End of August we stayed at your cottage again and enjoyed the tranquility of the property, the big garden, cuddling the sheep and several rural hikes. We would love to return in 2022.

We had a brilliant week on the Isle of Wight. Lots of things for families to do, and the accommodation was a good location on the island for travelling to nice spots. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
