Perfect cottage close to beach and town. Great amenities. Super friendly and helpful caretaker on site. Had one issue with noisy neighbor and Capt Al was right on it.

We absolutely loved our stay in Clearwater Beach! The cottage was very cozy and clean, we loved the outside area to hang out in. Ginger was very friendly and helpful, Capt Al was excellent with accommodating us and answering questions

The location of the property is great. Easy walking distance to the beach. The cottage is acceptable and we were comfortable. The property itself is a bit run down, but that didn’t affect our experience. Thank you Capt. Al and Gingerbread!

Couldn't be happier with our stay. The location was perfect. Close enough that all of the attractions were convenient, but far enough away from the main tourist area that we weren't fighting crowds. We have a 7 month old puppy, and the acceptance of pets was important. The space was cozy with the cottage feel as described. The kitchen had everything we needed. The back yard provided a nice shaded and quiet location for morning breakfast, and an evening cocktail. Best of all I can confirm that the beach is 100 steps away. The staff was attentive and quick to respond and help, wether it was with fresh linens and towels when requested, or to provide assistance when locked out of the unit. Thank you Capt. AL and staff. Captain Al was very welcoming & the cottage was great, less than a block away from the beach

Our family of six (2 Adults, 4 kids) rented this cute cottage for a week to get away from the -3 degree freezing temperatures in Chicago. The decor at the cottage was very eclectic, and we liked that the bedroom had plaid curtains on one window and palm tree curtains on the other window. It had a very laid back beachy vibe. It was not pretentious in the least. We were able to walk to many places to eat within a few minutes. It was easy to walk over to the beach and watch the nightly sunset, since it was so nearby. There was a small patio with a couple chairs right out our back door, which was nice to put the kids out on for breakfast. There was no way that we could have eaten as a family inside the cottage since the kitchen table was very tiny and only had 2 chairs. However, there was a kitchen, stove and fridge, so making a simple breakfast was possible. The cottage was a bit quirky; but in a practical minimalist sort of way. The sleeping situation included a Murphy bed off of the kitchen ( in the room that doubled as the dining room.) and a pull out vintage sofa bed in the living room. When these two beds were open and being used, there was literally only a small path and no other place to move in those two rooms. Not a deal breaker, but I wish I would have realized how close together we were going to be. The staff and Captain Al responded very quickly when we arrived and I had a concern. They went above and beyond to remedy the situation and were friendly at every encounter we had with them.

Location…Location…Location!

The cottage was a great location! With 2 little kids it was so easy to walk right down to the beach. The area of the beach wasn’t super crowded. We parked our car and we’re able to walk to everything we did all weekend (gas station for drinks, restaurants, shops, etc.) Capt Al had an amazing selection of beach items we were able to use, which helped with the amount of items we had to bring. The cottage was clean and cute. We didn’t spend much time there because there was so much to do, but we enjoyed the time we were there. Housekeeping stopped and asked if we needed anything. Capt Al walked past a few times and checked in. It was a very welcoming and a fun stay! We are excited to come back!

The pink dolphin cottage is just steps away from the beach making this a great location. The property was clean upon arrival. The cottage is actually a duplex. I think some of the photos on this listing are actually of the other half of the cottage so it’s just a tad misleading. Also listing says there’s a dishwasher and there is not (didn’t mind this at all just again a little misleading). Otherwise my friends and I had a great stay at the pink cottage! Very cute!

We reserved the Pink Dolphin Cottage to celebrate our parents 66th wedding anniversary. From the moment we booked Capt Al was prompt in responding to any questions we had prior to our arrival. The check-in process was so smooth and the cottage was very clean. Our housekeeper went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The beach was a hop and a skip away which was perfect since our folks are older. Capt Al had everything from beach chairs to umbrellas and more at no additional cost. We highly recommend this property for a wonderful experience for all. Thank you Capt Al

There was a slight mishap that I expressed to Caprain AL and him and his staff did an amazing job to ensure we had a good time. They were always available. I was able to see the inside a few cottages and they were both so lovely and cozy. My family and I have some memories and laughs we will never forget. I highly recommend these cottages. We can't wait to come back! Thank you Captain Al and your staff.

This was the perfect vacation spot for a family wanting to enjoy beach time. There are tons of sand toys, boogie boards, coolers, and beach chairs that you can help yourself to. If you need anything, just ask and Ginger or Capt Al are great about making it happen! The location was perfect! We parked our rental car the day we got there and didn’t get in it again until it was time to leave because everything was within walking distance.

Our family (my husband and I, our 5 children and two dogs) stayed in the pink dolphin. It was for sure a tight squeeze and we would probably go bigger the next time but everyone had a place to sleep and we spent so little time in the room so it served its purpose. We had an amazing trip and the laid back environment at Clearwater cottages made that a highlight of the trip. Captain Al was easy to communicate with and the housekeeping lady is very sweet and enjoyable to talk to. One thing we really enjoyed was our privacy but the ability to meet new people if you choose also. We met some cool people while staying there. We would absolutely stay there again!

I booked to stay in this property in January. On our flight down I received a message saying that the cottage was double booked and they just caught it, I assumed others paid more so we were odd man out. Luckily they offered us to stay in another cottage for a night but we had to find somewhere else to stay for remainder of the trip. Unfortunately most reviews were true about the dirtiness, we took our socks off to walk around(cause of the sand) & our feet were black as night. We got pizza the night we stayed and grabbed 2 of the dishes out of the cabinet- looked like they still had water on it from being cleaned but they had food particles still on them. Most of the outlets do not work. Aside from that the place was pretty convenient.

A very short walk to the beach (plus it is less crowded by being so far north). The downside is that restaurants and attractions are a further walk away; fine for adults, but perhaps less ideal with small kids. I'd recommend having a car unless you are only going to the beach and cooking in/ordering delivery.

We absolutely fell in love with this property. It is exactly as it says. It’s cute, quaint and so very close to EVERYTHING. The restaurants and shopping as well as the beach are all within walking distance. We will most certainly be back! Captain Al was very easy to reach. LOVE!!

Great location and property!

Small, alittle dirty, not enough pillows air conditioner in master kept going out. Battery in remotes not working. Old furniture. For 550.00 per day expected much better
