Located in Lake Lure, this charming house for $295 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. WELCOME TO COOPER'S CABIN! This exceptional, 4BR/3Bath, log home, is located in The Peaks (a gated subdivision) and offers incredible year-round, long-range, mountain views. Only 6.5 miles to the Beach @ Lake Lure, 7 miles to Chimney Rock State Park & 15 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center, you'll be close to almost everything this area has to offer. Complete with internet access... a 6-man hot tub, a game room w/Pool Table, Foosball, Ping Pong & more... Cooper's Cabin provides have everything you need for a fabulous family vacation. Upon your arrival, you'll be greeted by a lovely, covered front porch & chunky wood rocking chairs, which wraps it's way around to a large covered "gathering area" with more of the same furnishings, plus a glider seat, a picnic table & a gas grill. This continues on around the home, to the fully furnished upper level, back deck & those breathtaking views. Just inside is a large foyer area & the cozy living area, with ample seating, easy access to the spacious decks. a gas-log fireplace & a flat-panel television that includes DirecTV. Off of the living area is the main dining area w/seating for 6-7 & the fully-equipped kitchen. There is additional dining seating for four(4) in the Foyer. Dine inside or out, in the fresh mountain air. Also on this level is the Master Bedroom w/King bed & an adjoining private, full bathroom, complete with single vanity, walk-in shower, and jetted tub. The washer and dryer are located in a closet in the king bed suite. Upstairs, in the loft area, is an oversized chair with ottoman (that converts to a single bed) - perfect for an afternoon of reading, or the additional sleeping space that your family might need. The telescope provides for an even better view of the natural beauty of this area. Also on this level are two (2) bedrooms: 1 with a Queen bed & one with 2 full beds. There is full bathroom with tub & shower upstairs as well. The lower level is the indoor entertainment space, complete with a flat screen TV, comfortable seating, pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, and a bunk area with a full bed & a twin bed. Cooper's Cabin offers something for everyone. The layout of the home along with the cozy, comfortable sleeping areas allow for some separation of guests. There is fun indoors and beauty outside. Plus, it is perfect every season. You will want to return again & again! Smoking is prohibited in all our of our vacation rental homes. This home is NOT PET FRIENDLY Parking for 2-4 vehicles. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.

Our original cabin had an issue with the hot tub. I was notified immediately when they found out and were able to get us in another place that did have a working hot tub.

We were all excited about the prospect of a great race weekend at Lake Lure and Cooper's Cabin didn't disappoint! The cabin was gorgeous, well stocked, and offered I think hands down one of the most beautiful views of a sunrise in the mountains. Two suggestions for improvement, 1) I wish you could provide at least two rolls of toilet paper for each bath rather than one as I think this would wipe away (pun intended :) the need for most families to buy any additional. 2) The kids said the hot tub was a little moldy but I didn't verify that but I've got to believe it probably just needed a good cleaning. Other than that I would definitely recommend Cooper's Cabin to a friend. Thanks.

Cabin was super clean and looked better than the pictures. The mountain views were incredible!! The kitchen/ indoor dinning area is a little small but the outdoor dinning area with the grill is a great space.

The view off the deck is as advertised and spectacular. The game room was a giant hit with the kids. The house has great outdoor porches where people can spread out and inside you have different areas so everyone is not on top of each other. First vacation in a long time where we didn’t turn on a television, though they do have them. We really enjoyed our visit!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. Three brothers, wives, and four children stayed and we had lots of room. The location was great as we had family to visit in Rutherfordton and Spartanburg and those are not far away. We went hiking, enjoyed shopping, and played putt putt. The view and the time spent on the deck was the best part / the hot tub was pretty wonderful as well.

Family and friends together for Easter celebration; as well as event at Tryon Equestrian Center. The cabin was phenomenal. The huge side deck allowed us all to be together to eat and visit and enjoy. The activities in the basement kept everyone busy when the rain came. The owner had added little Easter touches, which was so sweet. AND the gas fireplace took the chill off on our last day there. Very well equipped, accurately described and very clean. THANK YOU!

Our second time in Cooper's Cabin, and we enjoyed it the second time as much as we did the first time. The home is perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 teens. The weather was great Friday and Saturday (raining as we left on Sunday). We enjoyed cooking on the big covered deck and spending time each day in the hot tube. A visit to the town of Chimney Rock and lunch at the The Lake House was enjoyed by all. We look forward to returning and recommend the home and the property manager to anyone.

Everything was great. Cabin was beautiful and I was so glad it was still decorated for Christmas. The kids really enjoyed the downstairs area. We couldn't use the hot tub because it was raining the whole time we were there.

Really enjoyed the house. Incredibly family-friendly! More roomy than photo'd, though the kitchen is small. INCREDIBLE side porch. The hot tub didn't work and we found this out after we'd already unpacked - very disappointed. I chose this house FOR THE HOT TUB. Property Mgrs really tried and were accommodating, YET DON'T rent this house for the hot tub because it might/might not work. RENT FOR THE HOUSE WHICH is a gem - cozy, welcoming and perfect for a family retreat.

Cooper's Cabin was a great find! Stayed for a girls weekend & the cabin accommodated 10 of us easily. You can not beat the view! Absolutely breathtaking. Would definitely love to stay here again on my next trip to the mountains.

Our stay at Cooper' Cabin was peaceful and scenic. Everything was clean and ready when we got there. We did experience some communication problems before we arrived however. Property managers did not return phone calls when promised which was unsettling. Also, there were a few items that we were told would be in the kitchen that were not there, again we were a little disappointed. Overall the Cabin and amenities were great and we loved the area, just wish the response to our phone calls and questions were better.

The overall stay was good, the view was phenomenal and the property was nice, especially the deck. However, was told to use their directions not the GPS. Their instructions for incorrect from two different directions. Said exit 10 instead of 70. Said north instead of south. When I called ( incredibly lost) was told she wasn't from the area and worked from home so couldn't help. Was given the wrong lock box number and could not get in for a couple of hours. It says it sleeps 12 ... That would depend on how much you want to double up if you are all adults. I do not want to sound negative because the place is beautiful. And it is close to all amenities ( drive not walk). We had a fantastic time.

After an extensive search of the area we found this cabin. It was perfect. My husband and I hosted 8 college graduates and students for several days. We were able to explore the area including Chimney Rock, Black Mountain and near Asheville. We had an excellent time at the cabin. There was so much to do including the game room and hot tub.

This was my 5th time staying at Cooper's Cabin and each time it has been a wonderful experience. The cabin is always extremely clean and has everything that we need. The views are incredible and the neighborhood, being gated, feels safe and secure. Look forward to my 6th stay!

This is our second time staying at Cooper's Cabin and we LOVED it even more this time. We brought our baby girl this time and not only is the cabin beautiful but it is well appointed and kid friendly. The view is breathtaking and the hot tub and porch swings make your stay so relaxing. The weather was perfect during our stay so we enjoyed dinner several times in the outdoor dining area! Such a great cabin perk. We look forward to staying again soon when vacationing in the Lake Lure area!

We had such a great time at the cabin. My only feedback would be to please make sure the hot tub is properly cleaned. Not sure when it was shocked last, but I ended up getting folliculitis after our stay. With such high fees for hot tub maintenance I assumed it was clean enough. Other than the rash, lol, we enjoyed our stay!

Love, love Cooper's Cabin! This was my second time to stay there. It is by far my favorite place! The cabin is very clean & so cozy! The neighbors are friendly & we enjoyed talking with them. This trip it was 3 ladies & Maggie the dog! We went downtown Chimney Rock, into Hendersonville & rode over to Black Mountain. We thought there was going to be snow, but it missed us in Lake Lure. Our visit was Jan.2 - Jan.6 I have not visited in January before. We all needed this calm, relaxing, slow pace trip. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. We will return again!

The Cabin had one of the most expansive mountains views I have ever seen. The drive to the cabin was easy and not steep. I often am a little uncomfortable going to mountain cabins but this one being in a subdivision had all paved roads with an easily accessible driveway. Google maps and Apple Maps was accurate in helping us arrive even though the directions said it would not be accurate. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had all the supplies we needed. The master bed was comfortable with nice quality sheets. The cabin was also located conveniently to restaurants, hiking, and shops.

Cooper's Cabin exceeded expectations! The view was spectacular, the house was immaculate and decorated with Fall decor which was a lovely touch. I celebrated my 40th birthday with 10 of my best girlfriends and the house was perfect for cozying up by the fireplace with each other, hanging in the hot tub, and enjoying the view from the decks. The neighborhood is beautiful to walk in, too! We wished we could have been there longer!

Property had everything we needed! We were most impressed by comfort of beds, awesome deck furniture in multiple areas to relax, well stocked kitchen in ways of plates, pots and pans and made it easy to cook for our clan. It was so quiet and calm there. Great for star gazing in the hot tub.

We enjoyed our stay at Cooper’s Cabin. It was very clean and the three levels were perfect for our family - everyone had their space. The owners have thought of everything! There were so many little details we appreciated, whether it was the awesome outdoor ceiling fan above the large table (where we ate every single meal) to all the motion sensor night lights. The view was awesome and we spent quite a bit of time rocking on the back deck. The sunrises were incredible! We had never stayed in a neighborhood before, when renting a cabin, but this is no ordinary neighborhood. We felt safe while also feeling we were in our own place in the woods. It was great to only have about a five minute drive to the grocery store (Ingles). Lake Lure/Chimney Rock was a short drive away and we always enjoy going there. We would definitely recommend this cabin!
