Breakfast was barely adequate. Fresh fruit wasn’t available nor was there dried fruit for the oatmeal. Juices did not taste good. There was a lot of noise with people coming in late at night . Talking in the hall and slamming doors

This is our second time staying. King size bed was wonderful, along with how clean the room was. Very convenient to all dinning and stores. Will stay again.

While staying in our room, the toilet stopped working. Also the sink and tub didn't drain quickly, so we ended up standing in ankle deep water. The walls were also extremely thin, so we could hear the couple next door fighting in the middle of the night. Breakfast as alright overall. But as a Hilton in restaurant, we expected the hotel to be a little nicer

Room needed maintenance. Trim pieces hanging off furniture and gap between tub spout and shower wall. They will eventually have mold growth in the wall.

Moving and needed a place to stay that was nice, clean & safe -Hampton Inn in Milford, CT fit the bill precisely! Right off of I-95 with a large parking lot. Check in was friendly and easy. Breakfast was good & filling. The room was cozy & comfortable. An excellent grocery store (The Big Y) is close by, made our dinners easy. Made our move a lot less stressful -thank you!!

This was the worst hotel experience i have ever had. Room was never cleaned my entire stay there. When i requested a room cleaning in our second day there we were told that they were short staffed and that it wouldn't be cleaned. I asked for new towels at least. They left the towels in a bag by our door without going in and removing the dirty ones. We had a mountain of dirty towels by our last day. The trash was never emptied. Beds were so hard that none of my family could sleep. The food was horrible. Powdered eggs, reheated "omelettes", stale bagels, dry muffins. The only thing good I can say about the hotel was that the staff were nice.

Upon arrival, our room was given away and we were told we would have a queen bed. Once in the room, the bed turned out to be a fullsize bed. Needless to say both my wife and I had a terrible sleep after a long day of travel. Manager put us in a king room the next two nights but the room wasn’t what I expected. Then a night manager ( older man) was asked by us for two sets of towels, he came back with two single towels and told us that is all he had. When the laundry room was two doors down from desk. Both my wife and I went into laundry room and asked a worker for more towels which they gave us. The manager said he would take care of the mishap on our first night but after checking, he said he could not do anything due to the fact we booked room through hotels.com . We will not be staying at this place anymore. Disappointed!!!

Other than the friendly and helpful staff, this hotel was a disappointment. It is situated right alongside I-95, and the highway noise is terrible. Because we arrived in the evening, we were not able to get a room on the non-highway side, even though we had booked and paid for the room before arriving. The hotel needs a refresh; the duvet and cover were dirty and stained. There was no closet in the room! We will not stay at this property again unless we hear that it has undergone a complete redo-- and we are guaranteed a room on the side of the building away from the highway.

It was an older hotel and needed some updating. They did road repairs behind th hotel starting around 11 pm. So noisy, it rattled the building. We left a night early

Was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. When I switched the next room had pee in the toilet. Pipes clanged all night and people kept screaming in the hallway. Did not feel safe.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and had a nice comforter, not just a thin blanket and sheet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and a lot to choose from. Close to everything we were doing. Highly recommend!!!!

I would like to warn people about the rooms. They have been smoked in and there was black mold in the bathroom. Only reason we stayed was my husband had surgery very early in the morning. Please dont stay in this hotel. J. Rusk

Laundry room clutter in the lobby not welcoming near the front desk... towels not delivered for 4 day stay, was requested every time. Breakfast selection limited no bacon. Only 1 chair in the room, 2 guests. No washcloths in room until requested on last night stay. Hotel near highway, best feature

Well, the staff was great and helpful and friendly. The room was not good - had the worst musty/moldy smell that could not be eliminated by my powerful aromatherapy oils. There was no window to open and no exhaust fan in the bathroom, but there were bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. The coffee was continually out, the noise of the highway right on top of our room was distracting. The breakfast was less than great. So, for $300 per night, I was quite disappointed.

Our room was very clean and conveniently located and the bed was very comfortable. The desk clerk was extremely helpful and personable in spite of a slight speech impediment that made her just a little bit difficult to understand. Far from being displeased, we were happy to see that she was employed there. It seemed like a very humane policy, which made us think highly of Hampton Inn. And she was an excellent help to us.

If I could give this hotel no stars I would! There were huge pot holes in the parking lot. Both the American and the Hampton flag were frayed and worn. That should have told me something. The first night in the room I listened to the toilet "trickle" all night because the guts in the tank needed to be replaced. The next morning it would not flush. After about a minute in the shower I was in ankle deep water. I went down to the front desk and they told me they would fix the toilet. When I came back that night it was not fixed. Same problem that night and the next morning. I went down and asked the clerk on duty (same one as the day before) if he was the manager he gave me one word "NOPE" I asked if the Manager was on duty, again "NOPE" I then reminded him of the issue from the day before and explained it was happening again and asked to have my room changed. I was told, "We have no other room for you." Went upstairs, repacked my bag and checked out. When I asked for a receipt for the 2 nights I stayed there I was told I would get it through EXPEDIA since that was how I booked the stay. Fortunately my brother was there with me and he informed the clerk he would give me a receipt and I would not be waiting for EXPEDIA. He then seemed to be able to print one. This was my first and last experience with Hampton Inns. Do not recommend anyone stay with this hotel chain.
