Not worth how much the room cost. The heater/phone/and TV streaming did not work. The front desk did not answer the phone when called on cell.

The hotel is old and not well maintained. The tv stand in our room had a damaged door and rust. The bathroom did appear very clean. There were streak marks on the tiles and walls which were clearly from moisture running down the walls during use which are not routinely cleaned. If it was a less expensive place, I would give it a 3 but for as much as I paid for a deluxe king ocean view room, I expected a lot better.

A bit pricey for a one night stay, no one sits on the outside balcony? I think because of the smell from the seals? Bed was ok not as comfortable as we thought it would be for the price, at night i called the front desk to see if there was a light switch for the balcony front desk guy said he would send someone to turn it on but no one came? So i called the front desk to cancel he didn't care?

Beautiful spot, almost a hidden gem, but still close to a lot in Redondo or Hermosa.

Great Views of the western sunset on the ocean. It's a little pricey, but worth it if you want a comfortable bed, a sunset view, and listen to the seals in the harbor. The nearby Baleen restaurant is excellent for breakfast or dinner. For me, it is a Southern California treat and well worth the price.

I love the quick check-in and out and the quiet area where the property is located. However, the door slamming when someone gets in and out of the neighboring rooms was so loud, it woke us up at 6:48 am. The doors are not soft-closing, really loud.

I love the place and the great view it's amazing I love it but unfortunately they charge 7$ water fee they don't provide any bottle of water you can't make a cup of coffee just because they charge for everything and they don't have anything for the room, so be prepared with napkins or water.

We enjoyed our stay at the Portofino Hotel & Marina. We stayed there especially to see the Boat Parade. It was in a wonderful location! Will definitely stay here again.

Good location and great staff--from those at front desk to valets and housekeeping staff. Room itself was nice and roomy, large bathroom and little dining area. Pool was extremely small and I could not access it because the ladder steps were too far apart. Bathtub did not have any safety handles. Even though I asked for decaf coffee more than once tI never received it.

The hotel is situated on the marina, slightly away from the main roads, so quiet and attractive. The staff was friendly and attentive and the facilities were good. A nice place for a quiet stay or as a base to explore the area.

The Portofino Hotel & Marina is highly recommendable to friends who are not on a budget. The staff are warm and courteous; check in was fast and easy, the room was clean/well kept, and the restaurant offers excellent food! The location was superb... so close to everything: shopping, beach activities, and restaurants. One great staycation experience for our family! Oh! And there's a "free" performance that you could watch (music you could listen to) at the lounge after a busy day doing other things.
