Second time staying here now and it was just as amazing as I remembered. Exceptional customer service and staff, drinks and food were delicious, pool and hot tub were delightful, overall a great experience and look forward to booking another stay here in the future!

View from the room was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. Love that the hotel is pet friendly and they gave my furry companion a treat bag on arrival.

The hotel is nice, not luxury as the price suggests but it has all the comfort and amenities. Check in was smooth and the valet was kind upon check in. I requested for a late check out at 6am and they told me they could give me until noon since they were at capacity. However at 11:30 the maid service walked into my room as I was naked and packing. I called the front desk where the woman gave me a rude attitude, said I was already checked out at 11 there was nothing noted about a late check out. No surprise that someone walked in on me naked and no apology. She then asked that I leave as quickly as possible. I asked for a cart to be brought up since we would have to make multiple trips otherwise. 10 mins passed and I felt hurried and uncomfortable so I called down to confirm someone was coming and the same woman who said she was the manager gave me a mean attitude and told me to be patient. I felt very uncomfortable by then and we just made multiple trips to bring our things down stairs. There was no one in the lobby checking in and I was so uncomfortable. I always stay at nicer hotels and this is fine to sleep in but should anything go wrong it is not worth the price. After room service and whatnot I spent almost a grand a night and was treated horribly. I’m not a picky person but how you can be mean to an embarrassed guest who was walked in on naked is beyond me.

An amazing hotel with friendly staff!! We cannot wait to return. Megan, a server at the pool was so engaging and warm. She helped me surprise my husband with a bottle of champagne for his bday!

Very nice place to stay. On the beach. Clean and taken care of. Great staff. Construction of new Opal next door can be a noise distraction during the day.

My experience overall was decent. Wallls were very thin so you heard everything from toilets, showers, and even movements every 5-10 minutes. Other than that it was a great stay. Friendly staff and very clean rooms.

Very nice hotel yet little high when you add valet and resort about another 80.00 per night. Lot of construction going on near the beach side of the property you could hear it in the room.

The hotel was beautiful! Great location and friendly staff. The room was very clean. The view of the gulf from our balcony was awesome. Great pool and attentive staff offering towels and drinks. We hope to return someday!

Beautiful resort right on the ocean with a nice hot tub and heated pool. Within walking distance to multiple restaurants as well as Pier 60. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a dream… the staff are so nice , the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best we been lately, make sure to reserve your dinner.

It was well kept and decorated. Staff was decent.
I didn't like my 9 year old daughter finding a live outlet without a cover on it, and almost getting electrocuted. I also didn't care for the thermostat resetting every time I opened the sliding door for the patio.

I reserved a Gulf FRONT room, I got a Gulf View, at best, when i arrived. I went back and looked at the description/receipt and it said nothing about this terrible view, but other listings did...We paid 500/night to look at a public parking lot and construction with water on side and in background. We could have paid 100/night and had a better view at a Holiday Inn. Incredibly disappointing. I called down to guest services and the manager called me back and basically said, at least you did get a lower floor.....
Other things to note- hotel is tight/packed in, there is not a center bar area. You can go to the bar in their one upscale restaurant- which has great food- or go outside to the pool bar. Not a lot of seating, small pool and not direct access to beach. The rooms were ok, coffee was horrible. I have stayed at other Opal Properties and loved them. This place is overpriced and feel as though we got the bait and switch. I usually stay at The SandPearl or JW, I will be returning to those locations.
