The location is fantastic, very close to Duomo. The hotel is an old hotel but very functional, spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, except the guy serving the front desk with white hair and glasses. We interacted with him couple of times, he always appeared to be unfriendly and grumpy. He joked my racial last name in a wrong way that I really felt offended. Other than that, we had a good stay and breakfast was good

Its very close to Duomo, subway, museums and top of the line shopping. Good breakfast was included. They have a gym and a restaurant. It will be nice if they can do the repairs to keep it more upscale as advertized. Some of the wall paper was peeling off and the carpets look very old. Bathroom has only half screen for the shower so the water goes all over the place and the base board has water damage. The housekeeping team was awesome.

I love the old school Deco look of this place with real wood (not fake laminate) and colorful styling. Check in was fast and I was early. Free drinking water was a big plus. Breakfast was decent, always left full. The only negatives were maybe the pillows were a big stiff and the shower drained too slowly and filled up fast and I always feared flooding the bathroom. Pipes might need a good cleaning. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Location is great.

The hotel staff were the most kind and smiling people. Both the ones in the reception and at the front door. We received nothing but the most helpfull and positiv attitudes regarding our inquiries. The hotel has many 4-star facilities and complimentaries. The breakfast buffet may not have been the worlds most exceptionel food, but we were not missing anything. There were all sorts of pastries, crossaints, breadrolls etc. And also warm food as 3 different kinds of eggs. Bacon, sausages. Lots of fruit. Unfortunately it was raining most of the time, but the hotel had complimentary umbrellas we could borrow. Very strong ones in great quality. The only thing that would take the points but down, was the interior of the hotel bedroom. We thought it looked very outdated. The dark coloring of the furniture and walls. And it had obvious wear around the rooms edges, chair etc. But other then that, it was a amazing stay. Really close to the duomo church and shopping. Lots of nice restaurants in 10 min. Walking distance.

This review pains me, as I’ve been staying here for business for more than 25 years. I guess the best I can say is that it is tired. The location is absolutely perfect. Steps to the duomo and a great spot to explore central Milan. Trams and Metro close by and restos a plenty within easy walking distance. Clean, straightforward business hotel with zero frills. Used to have a fun bar/ restaurant, but that time has clearly passed.

I enjoyed Hotel Michelangelo near Central Station. It is no more but Hotel Brunellesci is a sister property in a terrific location. Service is old school great. Breakfast is delightful.

The customer service was outstanding. The breakfast and staff were amazing. The location was convenient; it’s very close the the Duomo. The property is extremely outdated and in desperate need of a remodel/ renovation. The bathroom has a very weird layout with a doorstop in front of the toilet which I seriously injured my toes on. It’s just an odd room in many ways, but it was clean, friendly, and efficient.

It a very tired hitel. More like a nit great 3,* than 4*. There was nothing there from a 4* hotel. The rooms all with without features. No air conditioning- I was suffocating all night. When Ooen window - so loud trans passing by! Could not sleep all night. Breakfast poor. The only good thing- my room was available early. Probably hotel was not.very full. And location is good. Will never come back. I am a Gold Expedia client but nothing was offered - no upgrades, not even a basket of fruits to the room . Nothing!

Great hotel with a fabulous breakfast The housekeeping staff was amazing. I can’t say enough about this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. If I had one improvement it would be the pillows. They are too hard.

Dirty rooms. Loud. Construction work from 7AM. Drunk people coming in and out. Poor breakfast. This hotel is close to the Doumo but it’s not, under any circumstances, worth a visit. How this hotel has a 4-star rating is beyond my understanding.

Must stay when in Milan! So convenient and close to Duomo and Shopping Area! Less than 1in walk. The free breakfast is delicious with great choices of both hot and cold. They have elevators for your heavy luggages (our last hotel didn’t so we appreciated it a lot). Staff are nice and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again when I come back.

Property was really clean, with beautiful traditional decor. Rooms very clean with much needed amenities. Minibar filled with still and sparkling water, juice/soda and snacks. Great friendly and helpful staff, complimentary breakfast delicious with tons of options. Breakfast room staff were exceptional. Proximity to cathedral and Duomo is a 3 minute walk as indicated. Hotel is nestled in a really nice neighborhood. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend especially to first time visitors of Milan.

The staff accommodated our early arrival and could not have been nicer. They held our bags after checkout and were super helpful about looking for a lost item - which we found later! The rooms were beautiful and we had the best sleep of our vacation. Our daughter loved the deep tub for a relaxing bath. Highly recommend

The hotel is very conveniently situated near the Duomo which is absolutely great. So, if you are looking for location, I highly recommend. The hotel itself, which is considered a 4-star hotel, is QUITE dated and could use a MAJOR makeover. So, if looking for ambiance, I would not recommend it. It’s not what I would normally expect from a 4-star hotel, however, from what I learned it’s the various amenities offered that qualify it for this rating. I’m not sure the hotel has been updated since the 1970s or 80s. I’m not normally not one to complain about our hotel stays but our bed was not comfortable, the hair dryer (the super old kind connected to the wall with an attachment) barely blew any air so my hair was a disaster (ladies - be forewarned bring your own blow dryer if you have long or think hair) and the tub didn’t drain water well. They offered quite an expansive breakfast buffet but the room it’s served in feels like a cafeteria. Also, one of the concierges was not very nice to us (cranky would be the best description of his attitude) while the other one was quite nice and provided a very good late-night dining recommendation called Replay (behind the Duomo).
