The room was small but very clean. The bathroom was clean with a nice tile shower. There was no bathroom fan but there was small window to make up for that. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and safe in the room.

Absolutely horrible. I booked it at about 2 AM and we showed up no one was there. Finally someone came at 6 AM and told us we did not have a reservation. He said he would dishwasher refund. I need to make sure that you will also is your a refund. You guys took my money and did not even make me a reservation, we had to sleep in our car. I am not the type to complain, but I need to speak to a manager. It is unacceptable that you guys did not make my reservation after taking my money. And it was unacceptable that he would not then give us a room.

My stay was terrible. I came to visit my daughter, who is a Senior at Berkeley, to cheer her on at her game. The clerk would not reassign my room until I threaten to contact Hotels.com. The room had unfinished drywall. He then exchanged my room to a room that had a lampshade that kept falling off the wall. The noise from University Drive was overwhelming. No double-paned windows. The bathroom fan would not shut off unless you kept the bathroom door closed for at least 5 minutes but as soon as you opened the bathroom door, the loud fan would come on again. I would never stay at this unkept hotel.

Bathroom was incredibly small. Vinyl floor was coming up and is a trip hazard, aside from being unsightly. Very noisy at night.

The price was reasonable for the location and the room is fine. We paid extra, in advance, for the breakfast, which seemed to be available to everyone. The choices were two sweet cereals, some packaged bread. The coffee maker wasn't working. Don't pay extra for breakfast.

The inside definitely better than the outside of the property. There were unseemly characters staying there. That's not in a businesses control per say. Money talks, I get it! The real gripe is with staff and personal. I made a reservation that I in fact checked in for. Because I wasn't paying a switch was made. Even though I was physically there and they were aware of the switch even suggested it. I'm out of money I didn't have. I called multiple times. I asked to speak to the only person that can authorize a refund. The manager has been avoiding me like the plague. Do not stay here if you desire to have matters dealt with professional courtesy. I deserve a conversation at the very least. Disrespectful, blatantly rude and horribly evil to do people this way. My account is overdrafted with fees attached because of a mistake I didn't make. No one cares to correct it. I am low income and homeless. I couldn't afford the room myself. I have health issues, just got out of surgery 2 weeks ago. I was trying to get some peace and solace away from the shelter. Now my peace has been disrupted making my healing process more difficult and time consuming.

We left and did not checkin. Vulnerable areas with rooms at street level. Extremely risky fir two women. Should have warning it has rooms to the outdoors.

I needed to be close to UC Berkeley, and not have to worry about parking everyday. This filled the bill. 12 minute or so walk to the College. Plenty of places to eat etc...very few homeless! A breakfast place 2 minutes away for breakfast and coffee as of 6:00 am...very important also.

The staff was nice and really helpful. The location was decent and really close to the Greek theater which is why I booked it. But everything else about this location was questionable. We got a nonsmoking room but the second we walked in the whole room smelled like smoke and the smell never went away. The room looked like it had never been cleaned they just made the beds. I found dark hairs and stains all over the room, the blankets, pillows, sheets, bath mat, shower, and in the sink. the ceiling was cracked and had water damage. The shower had the holders on the wall for shampoo and soap bottles but they were completely empty and the bathroom only had bar soap and a tiny shampoo but no conditioner or any kind of lotion.

I stayed in this property years ago and it's clearly had a facelift. Both the bed and bath nicely improved. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. The location is very convenient to BART and multiple bus lines. Good value for money.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. You could smell the clean sheets when you walked in.The road noise was loud at times but the A/C helped block it out. Hooks to hang up the towels would have been nice. The beds were harder than I like. Overall a nice hotel. Not bad for one night.

The room was clean and looked to be recently undated. Check in was slow, even though I was the only person there. You can only watch TV if your device will cast to the TV. Wifi is slooow! A lot of street noise.

Our sheets were very dirty and stained upon arrival. When I requested replacement sheets, the replacement sheets were also very dirty. Both looked to have been stained with urine and feces. This was weird to me because without this experience the facilities are otherwise updated and clean looking. Wont stay here again.
