Well located hotel in a relatively safe area, within walking distance of the downtown. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast choices were of average quality. No serious recycling program evident.

FROM the Moment we Checked in we were Greeted with Smiles and Friendly Staff. Check in was a Breeze..ROOM was clean and had plenty of room for a family of 5. Pool and Hot Tub were clean, Breakfast was very Good plenty of choices and always stocked. WE really enjoyed our Stay.

Older hotel but looks to have been renovated. Accommodations were good. The only complaint we have is there’s a lot of construction going on around the area. A little noisy.

I have only good things to say about the hotel staff. I was amazed that I called in the middle of the night to ask if there was a microwave I could use. They said they could bring me one right to my room. And they did! The toilet wouldn't flush at one point and when we told them, they sent someone right away to fix it. By the time we were done with breakfast, it was already fixed and gave us no further problems. The hotel is clean and staff seem to want to help you. Complimentary breakfast is nice. There is even a cup measurer for the waffle station. It's the details that count!

So impressed. We stopped here on a family road trip for the night and not only was every staff member we encountered so kind and helpful but the hotel itself was so clean and nice. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the breakfast had so many options to choose from. Would stay here every time we come back to Salt Lake.

I’m so thankful we stumbled upon this property. We stayed here the night before my surgery and a sparkling clean room was really my only requirement. We’ve had some bad luck finding super clean rooms in SLC, except for when we’ve sprung for The Grand or Little America. You shouldn’t have to shell out that much money for a clean room, so this place was such a pleasant surprise. Everything is updated, there are nice touches like complimentary coffee, hot cocoa and tea, the furnishings are modern and the staff we encountered were friendly. The beds were very comfortable as well. Will stay here again.

This was our third visit to SLC and our first time staying at the Hampton Inn SLC. We wish we would have stayed here the other two times as well! From the friendly service, to everything in the hotel being clean and to the highest standards, we couldn't have asked for a better stay there. All the staff we friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The property was clean, and the room was modern and had many features to make our stay even better. Location is great as well, close to freeways and restaurants. Great public park less than a block away. Free parking was a big perk as well! I utilized the pool and fitness center, and they were always clean. The free breakfast was wonderful as well and offered many choices from eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, fruits, breads, and pastries. I would give this place 5 stars out of 5 as there was nothing I felt that could have been better. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Downton SCL and plan to stay here again the next time I visit.

Nice hotel, staff were nice, rooms clean, ample free parking, toiletries screwed to wall as is so often the case these days, great shower. Help yourself coffee in the foyer, included breakfast plenty of choice. The hot food choice for breakfast changes daily. Small shop on site with the usual array of ready meals and drinks and a microwave. Couple of fast food type eateries couple of blocks away which had nice food mex and bbq for those that wish to venture out Its a downtown hotel which is a 10 minute walk to the centre shops which we did during daylight never once did we feel unsafe

I arrived late near midnight. When we asked for help, like requesting some plates and forks,the counter staff, a short lady, expressed unhappiness. Though the hotel seems short of staff, it should not be the case.

Very busy weekend for the city with the NASA space capsule landing and FanX. I'm spite of this we were able to switch to an accessible room when we didn't bring my daughter's shower chair so i greatly appreciate that The hotel was very clean and staff was ready to help with anything needed. Housekeeping was tight but we knew that ahead of time and expected to have to request a room clean a day prior or supplies ourselves. We did bring extra blankets in case they ran out Breakfast was okay. They're was a decent selection and the waffles were good. Lacking if you have a gluten free person but they're are a lot of options within walking distance. The room we had was very spacious (accessible). Clean, quiet, we had to learn how to use the AC 😆 though, poor maintenance guy said he gets a lot of people that are confused. Location is just off of the central downtown area but within a ten minute walk. Very nice hotel

2 night stay. Queen room. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Typical Hampton Inn stay, which is a good thing. Fitness room was sufficient. Pool area was closed for maintenence. Complimentary breakfast was great with several hot and cold items to choose from. Perfect stay in a very conveniently located area!
