Quaint hotel with a 1920's vibe. It was very quiet and clean, and Sami, the manager, went out of his way to help me. Parking is available for an extra $40. The only drawback would be for those for whom stairs pose problems. Excellent location.

It was a very lovely hotel with nice staff and good breakfast. We had a single bed room for two adults, it was good enough for us wasn’t super spacious but it was nice

One of the worst and unclean. 0 service at our stay 0 cleaning. Tiles lose on the floors and walls. Black mould and 30 min to get hot water. I am sure this isn't going to matter but I book 15-20 rooms a year off hotels.com and I've never givin a review. It was so bad we left and booked a room at another hotel . It's crazy I've stayed at hostels in Thailand cleaner.

Hotel needs a reno and the room was quite cramped, but otherwise, quite serviceable: the price is right, the location is great, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The shower curtain was old. The room is not spacious for me and children. I saw dirts on the stairs while going for breakfast. The heater control is not in the room so our room was cold. There was no enough value for the price paid.

Bathroom shower small and narrow. It had no shelves for shampoo or soap. People with mobility issues would find this difficult ( In addition to all the stairs). The hotel is old and needs a refresh. It was a last minute booking. I would not recommend this place. There is much better out there for a few dollars more

Super overrated. The hotel has “catfish” pictures of the rooms. The lady at the reception was the worst. She was super rude and unhelpful. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The guys working were nice but overall experience was just bad. There are definitely better options.

Unique building with lots of character. The room I stayed in was small but had everything I needed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet could use some finessing but overall I had a good experience and would stay again.

A great experience! As I walked everywhere during my stay to immerse myself in full Montreal. Staff was superb, even for my horrible French. Next time I'm in Montreal, I'll make sure to have a companion and book here again!

The front desk staff were very friendly and greeted me daily with a warm "good day." They were flexible to allow me a slightly later check out on my last day, which was very much appreciated. The pillows were really comfortable!

The pictures on the website look beautiful. Our room is absolutely under par and something I would never book. It is a very basic 2 double beds, bathroom door sticks on ceiling, bathroom outlet doesn’t work, mold around air conditioning unit. Not my standard of hotel at all.

Good place to stay. Located near sherbrook metro(5mts walk), staff friendly and helpful.Room was clean, comfortable bed to sleep , there is a microwave, small kitchen that has essential utensils. bathroom was rather small and shower is ordinary, breakfast was basic , some more choices would be welcome. Overall quite a comfortable stay and value for money, i wont hesitate to come again!

This property was one of the worst experiences in my whole life. Ignore all the pictures that they shared because they do not exist at all. NO parking, NO elevator. My car was robbed while parked in the parking :( DONT trust anything about this hotel nothing

The place is charming. The bathroom drain was slow to drain. We asked for a fix over our three night stay which didn’t happen. We left it alone as it was not a huge inconvenience for us. The manager and several of the staff were extremely welcoming and gracious hosts. Breakfast was good too.

This affordable hotel has lots of charm, breakfast was substantial and and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was cosy and comfortable but there was a strong musty smell from the poor bathroom ventilation. Also, we had noisy neighbours so the walls aren't that soundproof. Overall, a good experience in a great neighbourhood.

The rooms were nice, but the hotel itself is in an old building that is slightly tilted making every different flight as well as the interior of the rooms uneven. While it is in a great location, the staff were pretty rude to our group on arrival, ordering us to sit down to make room instead of simply inviting us to do so to. I understand it is to make sure others can pass along the narrow entrance but there is a right and wrong way to say it. Also the hotel parking is VERY small, located in an alley right behind it, while it does the job, it is very strange how you have to give the hotel staff your car keys. And while you think only the staff would handle them, nope! I was given the car keys of someone else's vehicule to bring to the staff member downstairs waiting at the parking, instead of them doing it themself, I could technically simply have made of with somebody's car keys.

There was so much mold in the bathroom that had not been properly cleaned and removed. The shower curtain had black mold, the floor of the shower was heavily infected with black mold as well. Unpleasant!

The hotel is in a beautiful building, but the rooms are very small and ours looked out at a brick wall. There was no one behind the front desk when we arrived around 6pm and we had to wait for about 20 minutes with another couple who was also trying to check in before the receptionist returned without an apology or any explanation. That being said, all the other staff was very friendly and they served a good breakfast in the mornings.

This was the second time that I’ve stayed at Hotel de Paris and it won’t be my last. I love the quaint ambiance and cozy rooms. I had a beautiful room with a small balcony overlooking Sherbrooke Ave. It was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. The hotel is very close to shopping and great dining. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel de Paris is a great alternative to the large commercial hotels in the city.

Overnight stay in Montreal. Great location. The staff were very nice and rooms in this boutique hotel were small but comfortable. Not quite sure it was good value but I would consider staying again but would book directly with hotel and receive 25% discount.

This hotel was beautiful. Old structure, but decorated very nice. The budget rooms are very small and the air conditioning not so great. We ended up paying extra for the Queen Terrace Suite. It was nice, quiet and comfortable oh and the terrace was amazing. The tub/shower was not that great as the floor felt soft and saggy, the sink was plugged throughout the stay and the bathroom door didnt close. The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was included and although very odd how to get to restaurant it did the trick with regular breakfast foods (nothing cooked but did have hard boiled eggs and amazing orange juice) Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back and stay in a suite.
