We checked in about 10pm, the first room given to us was in very poor condition. The bed was VERY broke down. Scrape marks on the walls, just seemed neglected. After an hour my husband asked for a different bed. They were very nice about changing our room with no added fee! We were very thankful. The only problem then was not their fault at all, the airport is right across the street, convenient but noisy.

This hotel has recently been updated. My room was very clean. The halls had new paint. The carpets were cleaned, and there was new flooring. The front door was locked with key-only access or the attendant opening it, which made the hotel feel more secure from the night creepers outside. For a 3-star hotel it is very, very nice thanks to the updates.

The only thing good was the location and staff. Elevator stunk like stale cigarettes, alcohol, and urine. Drunks all over, yelling at each other or begging for money. The mattress was not soft at all. It was more like a kids mattress than a regular mattress. The whole place needs cleaned and maintained. The location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and nice, upbeat people. Too bad they have to work in such a dump.

The night manager was arrogant\rude. Needs a course on dealing with people. The general manager ( the next morning) was excellent.

Very convienient in walking distance to the airport. Not much around in walking distance resturant wise. The property is outdated and just average.

We did not like the bed. It was too hard. My wife and I still have discomfort in our back and hips. The sink in the restroom and the one in the wet bar were plug up.

We had to be moved into a different room because of the condition of the room like some was useing or smoking drugs in the room and me and my daughter could stand the smell and the second room that they have is was trashed there was hair in the sink and the carpet was ripped up and stains every where I will mot stay at this place ever again

The only reason people stay here is for the airport. It is the most outdated hotel I have been to in years. Old paint, carpet, decor, vibe etc. Please try harder. Staff is super nice though.

Everything was already equipped to room, did my expectation on walking in and it was clean rather than asking for extra service or another room. I couldn’t complain and it was to walk to the airport without having to hassle about a ride the following morning.

First hotel out from the airport, the most walkable one. Safe to do so at late hours at night. Night host was very nice and responsive to requests. Room was clean. The bathroom sink did have a small leak which I promptly reported to the host.

It was a decent stay, but very loud. People clearly gather for get together, inside and outside. That’s not really the hotels fault, but it made for a long night. Staff was decent and hotel was pretty clean. I thought was expensive, but it was close to the airport so that’s expected.

I didn't like the 1-ply tissue and toilet paper! No matter what you were wiping, you wound doing it with your fingers. I immediately got some quality 2-ply tissues. Overall, the stay was good. Rates are outrageous, but they were worse anyplace else.

I've had bad experiences here in the past, but it was clear they are turning this hotel around. The lobby is clean, and the hallway had fresh paint and was clean. Room was updated and clean. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall stay. Its clear they are trying hard to improve this hotel.

Advertised hot breakfast. It isn’t. It’s a grab and go breakfast. It needs to be changed on the website as that was complete false advertising. There is absolutely nothing in the kitchens. You have to get coffee pot, dishes, etc from the front desk.

The airport being conveniently located across the street is about the only good thing in regards to this location. The whole place smells bad. Their idea of a "grab and go breakfast" was a basket of stale chocolate chip granola bars. Barking dogs are allowed to carry on in guest rooms. The bed in my room felt like it was out of a 1980s Motel 6. And I'm pretty sure I saw blood splatter in my bathroom from a needle injection. At $250 a night - I expect a lot more. Next time, I'll take a cab from the airport and stay somewhere else.

The renovation was exceptional and the staff was too. Especially it was great to see the well mannered Alaska Native clerk checking me in. A coffee pot was waiting for me in the room the staff that took my request for one, was on it. I was treated like royalty. TY

There are people living there. Dogs in rooms barking at night, noisy neighbors, etc. Front door always locked, 24 hrs per day and card lock not working well. This place has gone downhill in recent years.
