We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Rapid City for one week. Overall, the property was nice, and we appreciated the warm cookies offered in the evening as well as the lemon ice water available in the lobby.
Unfortunately, there were some issues during our stay. My husband, who has Alzheimer’s, stepped on something while barefoot in our room and cut his foot. We couldn’t find what caused the injury at the time, but after returning home, an ER doctor removed a small piece of glass from his foot. This suggests the room may not have been vacuumed thoroughly.
I also requested fresh towels daily, but that never happened. I eventually had to flag down housekeeping and exchange the towels myself.
The complimentary breakfast was adequate but became repetitive after a week and offered few healthy choices.
While there were aspects of our stay we enjoyed, better housekeeping and room cleaning would have improved the experience considerably.

Typical breakfast, but staff did not restock the hot food. Just had cereal and toast. Rooms are spacious. I would suggest the hotel to purchase better pillows

Lisa the evening front desk clerk was awesome, efficient, and very helpful. Denise the morning desk clerk was equally as good and helpful. Room was great.
