Me and my man stayed there as a memoir he wanted to bring me somewhere fancy. Overall, it was super nice. It definitely got him some bonus points. So expensive but I definitely wasn’t touching the mini bar. Those things should have came with the room for the cost.

We had an amazing stay for Marti Gras. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL! Very historic, well maintained. The room had 12 foot ceilings. Concierge services were outstanding. Don and Cody were wonderful with their recommendations for a swamp tour, ghost tour and where to watch the super bowl. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at the Roosevelt. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Don the concierge knows the city like no one else and made sure we had a great time! Even though the city was packed for Mardi Gras the hotel bars and restaurants were perfect and the service was great!

Excessive hold on my credit card - twice the amount of the rate. Manager was supposed to text me about the correction and never did, bu when I called the front desk back they "confirmed" the Hotel.com rate. Housekeeping is MUCH later in the day (5:30- 7:30) and never did a complete job. Plumbing was exposed in the wall of the shower. Dresser in the room is in disrepair with the drawers misaligned and hard to open. Bed was hard as a rock. These are just things you don't expect with a hotel charging almost $500.00/day. Told the front desk about all of these problem and nothing was addressed. A manager never talked to us. This is our 5th stay and most likely our last.

Beautiful lobby and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. Would stay again. Great location.

Went there the week of Christmas to New Year and apparently there’s a tradition in New Orleans to go visit the beautiful lights and decorations on the hotel lobby, what that translates to is 10 minutes to be able to be able to get from the corner to the hotel entrance, no one was there to help with the bags as they were dealing with the crowds, once in the lobby there’s a bunch of people standing around taking family pictures or waiting for their drinks from the bar carts all over the lobby. As I was finally able to get through the multitude and arrive to the lobby, the noise from the crowd was so loud neither the reception clerk nor I could hear each other very well even though we were yelling so it was one of those I think I know what you mean but not sure if you said that. This was a daily occurrence during that week, avoid the hotel during that time.

I like the courtesy of the staff, from the valet parking guys to the front desk all the people is kind.
I dídn´t like the valet parking price, I think you should keep the prices of the parking lot infront the hotel, or rise the price for $10-$15 only, but not double the price.

All parts of our stay were wonderful. We came down for the Sugar Bowl and the hotel was right in the middle of everything. We were able to walk to local hot spots as well as the stadium. The rooms were big, comfortable, clean and we enjoyed Nespresso in the room. The service was unmatched. Anything that was needed, was a text away. We ate breakfast in the local restaurant and I would skip it next time. It was $31 for a breakfast buffet, but there are so many great places to eat near by, I would opt out of the hotel restaurants all together!

The entrance of the hotel is beautiful and the hospitality from staff was amazing. I stayed in the Jazz suite and felt like it was a bit outdated. That said, the views were amazing and it was very spacious and clean.

We chose this hotel based on the lobby at Christmastime and it did not disappoint. However, it should be made clear that this is not what you think a "Waldorf Astoria" experience should be. Because this is the most gorgeous lobby in all of New Orleans (and probably just about anywhere), it is a major attraction and it is a sea of people trying to get their family photo or TikTok reel. This really puts a strain on the hotel's resources. We were unable to eat at either restaurant because we did not plan in advance and they were booked. The Teddy Cafe had a limited menu, but the poor people working there were so overwelmed and not super friendly. When we arrived, we had to drag our own suitcases up the dirty red carpet into the lobby for registration because none of the men standing around offered to help. I am not sure if they were only there for parking assistance, or if they just ignored us, but they were Roosevelt employees. A few times we wanted to ask a question, there was no one at the concierge station. I didn't mind the mayhem in the lobby, but would have liked to have felt that the hotel was still standing up to a Waldorf reputation otherwise.
A few people stood out during our stay: The gentleman that checked us in on the evening of 12/23 was very kind and helpful. The bartender in the Sazerac bar, Rachel, had a great attitude and served us with a smile. The housekeeping staff did a great job as well.
Overall it was good, but not exceptional.

A beautiful hotel in an area convenient to the French Quarter, shopping, and galleries, but away from the noise. The rooms are luxurious and the holiday decor is outstanding.

After almost 40 years in the US, I visited New Orleans with my love in celebration of our Anniversary! It was an incredible experience, the hotel atmosphere and the hospitality were exceptional; however, the food everywhere we went … was outstanding!

The Roosevelt is my fave place to stay in NOLA. However, this trip was very disappointing. Check in is at 3pm. My room wasn’t ready until 5:30pm. The phone system went down in the hotel later that night so room service was unavailable. My friend suffers from PTSD & requires some tv noise to help him sleep-yet starting at 3am the Internet went out & was out most of the night so the tv didn’t work. Very disappointed in my stay since I LOVE the Roosevelt!

We were very pleased with the venue, staff, and our suite. The bell captain was very nice. The restaurant where you could purchase muffins, drinks, and tea had an exceptional staff. One staff member, an Asian young man, went above and beyond the call of duty. He worked the evening shift on 11/25/2023. I send a sincere thank you to this young man. Thank you👏

Randy was our first meeting. Excellent communication!! I am sorry to not remember his name, he was a tall black gentleman with glasses and a short beard that remembered our name and we where from Milwaukee and was so gracious. He was going to Minnesota very soon.
Wonderful, wonderful people!!!!

Room was gorgeous and super luxurious. Loved the turn-down service (you don't get that much anymore!) which included, robe, slippers and yes, a chocolate mint. The staff here were great, helpful and all around wonderful! Will definitely come back.
