Full instructions for checking in were provided in advance, together with the locations of essential amenities and an offer to assist with tour booking. The room itself appeared recently renovated and was very clean and tidy. The communal kitchen was also smart and reasonably well equipped.

The host, Valerija, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. When my flight got cancelled, she helped me in booking an extra night without any hassle and even provided a detailed invoice that I needed for the airline. She also helped arrange an airport transfer on very short notice when my flight was rebooked, which made a stressful situation much easier.
The room itself was very clean and tidy. One of my favorite details was opening the patio door to the garden, and the fresh, pleasant scent of the greenery really made the space feel special. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day.
One thing to note is that if you leave food out in the room, ants will find it quickly. However, as long as all food is stored in the shared kitchen, this isn’t an issue at all.
The location is convenient, with a small supermarket right next door and a slightly larger one just down the hill, which is even open on Sundays until the evening.There’s also a bus stop down the hill about a 4-minute walk away. Bus number 8 runs from there and goes directly to the Old Town.
If you prefer walking, the Old Town is about 2.5 km away. The route is mostly flat and downhill, making it a very pleasant and scenic walk.
The surrounding area is generally quiet, although you may occasionally hear some traffic when larger vehicles pass by.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend Jele Rooms to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.
