Clean and close to boardwalk

No table in the unit, AC vent was covered with globs of dust, corner of living room floor was filthy, tub was super slippery, and vacuum cleaner had not been cleaned out in ages so it did not work properly. Yes, I cleaned it, vacuumed the rugs and my asthma improved. Kitchen lacked cutting board, sharp knives and adequate cutlery. Pool was was full of pigeon feathers and mysterious substance (possibly pigeon poop).

So the pictures on the website definitely need to be updated. I got a deluxe suite and the pictures did not match what our room looked like in the photos. It showed that we had a nice large open kitchen area with a stove, cooktop, stove, and a regular size coffee pot the kitchen area was nothing like that. There was no full-size coffee pot. It was a Keurig an the Keurig was not very easy to use like most Keurig. I did reach out to the hotel Monte Carlo and she poured me that they did not have any regular sized coffee pots and we went over to use the rooftop pool and they were cleaning rooms and in the storage area where they keep the supplies there were tons of regular sized coffee pots. Also, the outlets in the room need to be replaced or looked at. We had some outlets and the outlets that we had half of them worked an half of them did not, the alarm clocks had outlets and charging areas, but those did not work. We had a nice little balcony that had chairs, but there were no tables out on the balcony so for the price I would say I wouldn’t stay there again. The rooms/condos just need to be really updated and the website needs to reflect the correct accuracy of the room that you’re getting because from the website definitely did not match the room that we received.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. The apartment was spacious and had plenty of room for our group of eight. The biggest disappointment was that, for an apartment that sleeps eight, there wasn’t a dining table where everyone could sit and eat together. That would have made a big difference. I would rate the cleanliness about an 8 out of 10. It was generally clean but could use a little more attention to detail. The only other issue was parking. We drove a Chevy Suburban, and finding enough room to park was difficult. It’s possible this was mentioned in the listing and I overlooked it, but it’s something future guests with larger vehicles should keep in mind. Overall, the great location and spacious apartment made for an enjoyable stay, and I would consider staying here again.

We Would stay again. 1 shower didn’t work. But there was only 2 of us so we just used the other one. The tvs were hard to work. Nice big rooms, comfy beds.
