We had a fantastic experience at Bushbaby River Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Communication with the staff was seamless, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged even before our arrival.
The breakfast options were delightful, offering a variety of choices such as waffles, pancakes, French toast, and a classic English breakfast—something for everyone to enjoy. The heat pump/air conditioner worked flawlessly, making our stay comfortable regardless of the temperature outside.
The facilities were spotless, with warm water readily available and a refreshing pool to relax in. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport, the lodge is also surrounded by wildlife, offering a serene and immersive experience. For those interested, the staff can help arrange game drives, making it easy to explore the incredible nature and wildlife in the area.
Overall, Bushbaby River Lodge is a gem that combines comfort, convenience, and a touch of the wild. We look forward to returning!

Location on a wildlife estate. Very peaceful with just the sounds of nature surrounding you. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Bushbaby River Lodge was a great, quiet, peaceful play to stay in Hoedspruit. Everyone was very friendly and the setting is great. Be sure to have a rental car! The lodge is a very long walk from anything.
