Enter to the living room where you'll want to sink into the couch and never leave. Off the living room is a private office area. The kitchen, with its original cabinetry, has everything you will need for a meal or lazy coffee morning. Two bedrooms, with sleek design, share a bathroom with a tub and shower. The main bedroom is spacious with built in book shelves and an en suite bathroom. The back patio, off the dining room is covered and offers more space to gather. Enjoy free on street parking while being able to walk to coffee and restaurants on South Lamar. La Casa is a beautiful space meant for quiet groups to gather while enjoying Austin. Guest Access: Guests will enjoy the entire property including covered patio space and off-street parking. A few days before arrival, guest will receive a key pad code for easy guest check in. Confirmed guests will send a link with our local recommendations and a platform for ordering extras that could be delivered to the house before arrival. There’s plenty of off-street parking that is free and usually available. Please let us know ahead of time if you need a pack n play or high chair. How do I check in? A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us! Can I extend a stay? To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout. Can I change or cancel my reservation? We have a moderate cancellation policy. It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund. Are pets allowed? We love dogs and love to host but they do cause more complications for our cleaning crew. We have a limit of 2 dogs with a 50.00 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pup. If guests arrive with a pet without making prior arrangements, the fee is 250.00. Because of allergies, we cannot host cats. Service vs Emotional Support Service dogs have received specialized training to perform a specific task or tasks for an individual with a disability are considered service animals. Please provide the documentation and the pet fee is waived. Emotional support animals are important as well, but they will be charged the pet fee. Are there extra pillows? We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well. Are extra guests allowed? If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues. Is smoking allowed outside? Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests. Could we leave our luggage? We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags. Could I have an early check-in or late checkout? We use the DACK app (info given upon confirmation) where guests can purchase extra time before check-in or after check-out. This allows our cleaners to manage their time and have houses ready in a timely manner. What is a MUST do in Austin? We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worth a drive by!
