Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Private pet-friendly (additional pet fee applies) cabin minutes from Lake Mattamuskeet.
Escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas yet only 1hr away from the pristine beaches of the Outer Banks and minutes away from endless hunting and fishing opportunities.
The Space:
East Carolina Cabin is located on the same property as my other listing East Carolina Cottage. You can rent both properties if you have larger groups. There is ample parking on the property. The cabin stands alone roughly 50ft away from the other cottage so you have privacy.
You will have the entire cabin to yourself. The main living space has a king size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchenette comes equipped with a stove top and refrigerator. Cookware, dishes and basic kitchen needs are provided. You will also have a dining table with seating for 4. The full bathroom has a bathtub as well as a washer and dryer. The cabin has air-conditioning and wifi. Linens and towels are also provided.
Please be aware, this home is in a country setting surrounded by fields and wetlands. There will be bugs and critters around. In hot summer days, the AC might not be able to keep up. Generally it can stay roughly 20 degrees below the outside temperature. It is not uncommon to get into the 90s here and the AC might not go below 75F. We try our best to make this affordable private home as comfortable as possible.
