We had a great time at this beautiful house. A group of friends got together for a Quilting weekend and we had a great time at the home and in the surrounding community. So many wonderful little shops and great places to eat. Of course, the kitchen and Home were very well equipped for eating in the house as well as going to the beach and pool although we did not do any of those things. 😂 we are hoping to return again next year. The house couldn’t have been any better! All the ladies were especially pleased with bathroom toiletries that were provided as well as starter trashbags, laundry soap, kitchen articles. Thanks for a fun weekend!

I cannot say enough about this beautiful home. It is perfect for a large family get-away and I will be booking this home again soon! The gated community is lovely, it is located close to everything, HighTide Golf Cart Rentals had our carts delivered picked up at the home and view of the marsh was breathtaking! The pool was clean and perfect as well!

We traveled with family friends of ours and this property was perfectly suited for us. Plenty of room, separate upstairs and downstairs playrooms for children to play, and the pool and the view were spectacular. It did require us driving to the beach because it felt just out of walking distance for young children but otherwise it’s a quick trip.

The house was very clean and the property itself was beautiful! Pool furniture would be a great addition, but we made it work! Plenty of room and the kitchen had all we needed.

The private pool was great. The game room kept the kids occupied for hour waiting out the rain. Will look to book this unit again in the future.

Arrived 6.10.23. Upon arrival entering thru the basement big musky smell. Went upstairs to find food and lots of white dog hair all around the kitchen table and kitchen. 2 days later still was sweeping dog hairs. 7 out 8 people got sick not sure from mold that we found in the laundry room, study or master suite closet. Calling Vacasa was a joke. Was told someone would be out in 2 hours. Then we get a call from “local” manager Ty who was quite rude informing me the inspector would be there on Fri around 10. If I wanted to start the process I could check out. What the heck. I am on vacation with a group of 8 — 7 hours from home!!! Told him I would check with group as the youngest is 2 and oldest is 83. I called and texted never heard back from him until 430 in the afternoon. I ask if they had anything else available he informs me about another rental company. Hello most places require at least 5 night minimum he offers NO HELP. Finally just said we will stick it out. Inspector was due at 10 on Friday 1020 I call him he inform oh he texted me early and it would be after his lunch. he never had intentions on notifying us of the delay!!!! I have pics of the mold on the vents and the water damage at two windows that has been happening for a while of windowsills rotting from damage. Lots of issues that need to be addressed. I am not even sure the property owners are kept informed of issues

The house was beautiful and had more then we needed! Easy walk to several restaurants. The back yard was perfect for the dog and the pool was great. We all loved it.

We stayed 3 months over winter. At the time of this review, the virtual tour is 100% accurate and can answer many questions. Here’s what you can’t see; the kitchen is reasonably well stocked with cooking and serving utensils. The “gas grill for cookouts” is nonexistent outside. The gas Wolfe stove in the kitchen does have a grill but the exhaust fan does not work…at all. We only used the primary bedroom on the second floor and it is spacious and comfortable. The primary bath has a nice shower with dual heads but only one of the heads works properly. Still a very nice shower but the addition of a second head would make it awesome! The grounds/pool are well maintained but given the cooler temps we only went out for the dog. Pool is very nice to look at! We would recommend this home.

I rented this home to enjoy a stay in Saint Simons with some girlfriends, I frequently rent homes in the area and I was impressed with this one. It is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable while the kitchen is immaculate, as well as, the massive yard backing up to the marsh. Some downsides to the stay were that the pool was not able to be heated and while the ad boasts fireplaces in the home, we were told upon arrival that we were not allowed to use them, with the chill in air it was a disappointment to not be able to set a cozy ambiance with the fireplaces in the master king suite and the living room. Also, there was a lot of construction going on next-door with the building of a new home, the noise was only disruptive for one of the days of our stay, but once that home is complete and occupied it will encroach on the privacy of the backyard area which is filtered on the other side by a mature row of trees, hopefully another row of trees will be added to the other side of the yard so that it can remain a more private sanctuary. But overall, I would stay here again, it is very close to everything and feels safe with it being in a gated community. It seems well equipped for a couple of families to enjoy staying here.
