About this house rental
Come escape to the NC mountains with gorgeous sunset mountain views. Property is 3 miles to town(Saluda NC) with a park, grocery store, shops and restaurants. The newly renovated house is on 45 acres with walking trails. Mountain Views are present from every room and bedroom. There is a fun and spacious 2nd living room/game room downstairs with shuffleboard and foosball. Spacious master on the main floor with large ensuite bathroom and screened in porch with hanging bed-swing. Main floor also hosts a library/bonus room with queen sleeper sofa if additional room is needed. 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with king bed, the second as kids bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and (new since pictures) additional full bed. An additional twin mattress is stored under bunk bed if needed. Relax in multiple outdoor spaces. Read a book on the swing bed off the master/library or have breakfast and enjoy the surrounding nature on another screened in porch off the kitchen. Sit on the front porch in rockers and watch kids play in the large gently sloping front yard and make smores around the fire pit. Enjoy the large back porch with sunset views over layers of mountains. Family room with games, movies and books. Lots to do whether rain or shine! pack n play and other items available if needed. Private trails as well as well known public hiking trails located nearby. House is also on a popular biking route for cyclists. So much to do and see!
Renovation is complete and an additional downstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds and an en suite bathroom has been added. The downstairs bedroom with a king also now has its own en suite bathroom! Starlink has been installed as well for even better internet access!
We ask that you not use indoor wood burning fireplace for various reasons including safety though there is a gas, wall mounted fireplace downstairs that can be used. Please reach out with any questions. There is a ring doorbell camera and another focused on driveway for security reasons. There are none inside the home. UPDATE: as of 6/2026 home renovations include new roof, new entry, new covered back deck with large expansive sliding doors to enjoy view, open ceiling and more...

Everything was great except the additional bedroom was not finished (had no closet) and the master bedroom’s TV was not usable.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! We had everything we needed plus more and the views were incredible! We love the seclusion of this property and the little town nearby. Would stay again!
