This DOG FRIENDLY* home was recently renovated and is new to vacationers. We hope you'll find it relaxing and suitable for your trip! Located on a quiet street with a relaxing rear deck. Just a few blocks from the shores of Lake Erie and only minutes to stores, restaurants, the beach, the boat launch and the Huron Boat Basin. There's even a sidewalk at the Magnolia Rd entrance that will take you to downtown Huron. Huron is a quaint and welcoming Lake front town with restaurants and pubs along the river front and entertainment at the Boat Basin throughout the summer and fall months. It's approximately 15 minutes to the famous Cedar Point Amusement Park or Kalahari. It is a 20 minute drive to the Jet Express and Goodtime One docks that will take you to the Islands...Kelley's and Put-in-Bay! Huron has several popular spots for Lake lovers. Just 5 minutes away are Lakefront Park and Beach, the Huron Pier and Lighthouse, the Huron Boat Basin and the Main Street establishments for food and drink along the Huron River. Nickle Plate Beach and Huron's public boat ramp to launch your boat, jet skis or kayak are just 8 minutes away. And if you're up for a non-water experience the area has several popular wineries and there are some unique shops to explore in downtown Vermilion 20 minutes away. It was a nice little house only thing was not with the property or management but the fact it was a quiet zone after 9 even on the weekends. Other than that it was a great place, clean and was a nice little vacation for the family.

No issues with the stay. Enjoyed staying at the house. Fast internet. Only issue i had was while in the vrbo app i hit a button for directions to the house but i believe it took me to the owners house instead of the rental property. We figured it out rather quickly though.

Jamie was an excellent host! She let us know of discount Cedar Point tickets on a coupon site before we were going to arrive and allowed us to bring our dog at the last minute (the house sitter backed out a few days before). When we arrived, the home was welcoming and there were a few snacks waiting for us. The home had plenty of room for the four of us. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved the location to Cedar Point and found local restaurants (recommended by Jamie) for breakfast on our way there each morning. We walked the dog around the quiet neighborhood multiple times per day and felt safe (it was nice to be so close to the park that we could run back to the house to eat and relax a little mid-day, then go back to the park in the evening). If we go back to Sandusky, we'd love to stay there again. Our sincere thanks to Jamie for being so informative, accommodating, and welcoming!

My family and I (4 adults & 1 2 year old) stayed here for two nights while visiting Cedar Point. Our stay was perfect! Jamie was communicative and accommodating, and the house was comfy, cozy, and impeccably clean. It easily accommodated a group our size and was 15 minutes from Cedar Point, which made for an easy mid-day break. I would come back anytime to avoid the expense of a hotel. Thank you!!

A great location for a trip to Cedar Point. The house was comfortable for 5 people, 2 adults and 3 kids. The only problem was the refrigerator/freeze wasn’t very cold.

I planned a Birthday trip for my hubby. We travelled for a trip to Cedar Point and to visit family nearby. It was our first trip with our mini Aussie and I can’t say enough about how nice the house was! We would definitely recommend it! Plus was the washer/dryer and the owner included laundry pods and dryer sheets. Also had paper towels, dish sponge and soap in the kitchen. Pretty much everything you need and owner was very sweet.

This host was very nice and communicative from the start down the weather for the weekend we were coming. I adored all the little touches that went into our stay from the personal little dish soap and sponge to the Halloween music when we arrived and little decorations and candy. The house was very clean and organized everything as expected. Would definitely recommend staying here
