Room was good; not very big, but enough room to open suitcases. Bed was very comfortable.
We knew that most places do not have air conditioning, but we were able to open the window and there was a fan provided.
We didn't know that there was no elevator so suitcases were a bit of a struggle to haul up to the second floor, 42 steps in all.

Self service working well, quite good as location and comfortable room with decent equipment.
A bit difficult to get in the building door, there was no clear instructions and we had to ring the belt for a man to help opening it. This could be easily improved I believe.

The location was perfect especially since we were at an event at the Basel Kaserne which is very nearby. Check-in is easy and quick. It is really nice to have an option like this for a simple, affordable place to stay a night. It has everything one needs and I slept quite well.
