Gorgeous views. Couldn’t get the fireplace to work and the ac didn’t see to work. We had to open the windows and there went any screens. Overall it’s a very pretty place and it was quiet.

This is primarily a wedding venue with only nine guest rooms/suites, but during the wedding off-season, it's a B&B, which I thought would be a nice change from a chain hotel. My room rate matched that of a Hampton Inn. Instead of the day and night slamming of spring-loaded chain hotel guest room doors, Chelsea Sun Inn has good-old wooden doors that you close yourself. Without all the boom-boom-boom of door slams at all hours, I actually got a sound night's sleep. What an unexpected pleasure! The staff was wonderful and attentive. The freezer in my room fridge had some accumulated ice that kept me from loading all my frozen goodies. I called to ask if a replacement was available and a new unit arrived at my door in under five minutes. If that didn't work they would have let me stash everything in the big unit in the main kitchen. Nice. The next morning I took my breakfast in the big kitchen, which is the oldest part of the house, built in 1811. I had quicker access to coffee! I could have eaten in the breakfast room or by the pool if I chose. All-in-all, classic charm in a peaceful, serene setting for the same price as a mid-level chain hotel. What is not to love? I'm going to do this more often. Thanks for being such a refreshing change from the cookie-cutter world of guest lodging.

Beautiful place to stay. My husband and I wanted a night out and this was fantastic. We stayed in the versace suite and it was beautiful and big. Great view of the pond. We will be back. Breakfast was delicious.

The site is beautiful and the room sizable and clean enough but hallway outside our bedroom was noisy - every time front door opened our door clanged - and no one met us when we checked in.... we waited five minutes when we called the number given. Kitchen had dirty dishes and place smelled generally musty- it has great potential given size and setting but needs more care

This is a beautiful property with interesting architectural and decorative features throughout. As we were leaving, I kept noticing new interesting and beautiful things. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Super fun! The space is gorgeous and the amenities were amazing. Was great to spend a weekend "away from it all" and the staff was great. Comfy bed, cool shower, and the common spaces were really neat. Felt very luxurious. The only qualm I have is the "continental breakfast" which was basically just toast, bagels, and some apples, with all other normal breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, etc.) being an additional charge. My recommendation: add a cereal station! :)

The building is so beautiful and interesting. The area is rural and quaint. Would have loved to have known the history of the Inn and the area but did not see any literature and the 2 fellows running the place were very busy.

Randy checked us in and couldn't have been nicer. Gave us a tour of the property and explained all of the amenities. Our room was fabulous. Observations: - The property is severely understaffed. - It appears that the owner has dumped a lot of money into the construction but is not interested in maintenance. They need more amenities, iron and ironing board in the rooms, and most of all food. This place is in the middle of no where. Choices of places to eat are very limited. It's easy to tell that it is someones dream let's hope they have the money and fortitude to see it through. Again, cu dos to the staff that we met Randy and apple are great.

The Inn was very quiet and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The pool and jacuzzi was very pleasant especially at night time under the lights.

The place is beautiful and the rooms are large. Downside is lack of staff. Those that are there are multitasking. Shout out to Randy who was doing his best to keep up. If coming in on Sunday check in late so the staff have time to turn over rooms from a Saturday wedding.

The staff exemplifies friendliness. When you walk in, you have to smile.

Its a private place without much support from staff. It is a great place to sleep and shower if you have family nearby that you want to visit but not burden with your stay. If you are looking for a place to not be seen, heard or disturbed this is a perfect place to "hide". It could use some attention to detail but over all its a remarkable place

Likes: house, rooms, grounds, swimming pool, wine tasting and the sunset view from up top of the hill.

A very nice accommodation with a helpful and friendly hostess. The outdoor pool and large open space outdoors made us think about returning in summer with grandkids.

My brother in law was having a bridal shower in East Stroudsburg which made this Inn the perfect location to stay being only 20 minutes away. Upon arrival we didn't know what to expect but shortly knew we made the right decision by coming here. With a warm heart feeling welcome from the attendant Apple and the property manager James. The outside atmosphere was breathtaking with a wonderful view of the pond, and the feeling of being in a five star resort with the beautiful pool and jacuzzi. The Inn itselt is beautiful and not to mention very clean. When we finally got to our room we were even more impressed, the bed was comfortable and the views were magnificent. James tended to all our requests in a very humble manner. The other guests at this Inn were very social and it felt like a big family at times with how nice everybody was. The restaurants around are good, and when we decided to request an in room dinner they did not disappoint. This is definitely an Inn worth returning too.

Wow, what a disappointment. This B&B is still under construction. The staff said so, but it was obvious after we checked in. Our room was big and beautiful…but the central air wasn't finished yet, so we had a room air conditioner that ran louder than a cement mixer. There's a big pretty pool…but the patio and lights aren't finished, so we saw bare wires, screws and cigarette butts on the grounds. They fed us breakfast…but it was brought in in warming trays and left to sit with no sterno. We had to nuke it ourselves. The breaking point was the bugs in my daughter's room. Flying things landed on her while she was sleeping. I think they got in around the room air conditioners, where were poorly sealed off from the outside with clear packing tape. For all this, we were going to be charged $220 for 1 night, a whopping amount! They owners were not around. The call I got came from New York City. This is a beautiful farm in a great setting. But it looks like a money laundering front, investment or vanity project. The owners obviously have zero interest in the guest's comfort. We asked for a reduction in our rate and got it, but it's still way too much. A B&B experience is supposed to be relaxing. It's a little pampered escape from daily life. Every need should be attended to without really even asking. Our room had no cup for tooth brushing. There was no way to ask anyone for one. It's the little things, and there we disappointed in a 100 little ways.

The spa was not 100% ready for guests, but this did not stop the staff from trying to make our stay the best. I can't wait to go back when they are completely up and running.
