Very poor

Convenient off the highway

Remodeling everything was out of order. The room appeared to have been partially remodeled and was poorly done. Pool out of order, breakfast consists of coffee, that's it. Staff was ok but acted like everything not working, which was normal for a hotel, and the price was still within $5 of the other hotel in the area that were actually functioning motels.

The new management is trying to update, but they are not fully ready for guests at this time.

We were staying on Route 66. The bed was comfortable.

The bathroom smelled. The bathtub needed caulking. The refrigerator did not work. The breakfast consisted of cereal and milk. The lobby and outside the front door were piled high with lumber and materials to do renovations. I paid Booking.com $71.42 for a king-size room. I was assigned two queen beds instead. If I had only been charged $35 like another reviewer it would have been more reasonable.

They are remodeling the whole complex. it will be wonderful when completed. The receptionist was very nice and helpful.

It was super comfortable and roomy.

Trash pilled up outside our room in the corner of the Hotel. Could take better care of the site.

Waste of money !

Did not honnor price , breakcfast was frozen , orange juice was so watery. No plates or cups. Room was dirty . Sheets were dirty had bed bugs toilet was painted with paint for walls . Garbage outside every where.

Good enough for an overnight stay.

But the shower head was broken. The hotel was in the process of a major renovation and there was a strange odor in the lobby.

we just stopped here for about 5 hours of sleep but for 90 something dollars, definitely would not stay here again.

there wasn’t much I liked about this property except the bed was comfortable but the pillows were completely flat, it was like not having one

well walked into a weird smell in the room, after going to bathroom noticed the l carpet was all wet and stinky. We couldn’t get two of the lights to work in the room. The heater was very old and seemed to struggle to work.

Great Place for an Overnight Stay

Santa Rosa is a routine overnight location when I travel from TX to AZ. I've tried 4-5 hotels in Santa Rosa and have settled on Hotel Blue 66 as my go-to hotel. It provides a comfortable night's rest. Also the Silver Moon Cafe is next door which makes an easy walk to a good meal.

They room was manageable.. I had no issues for the price.. Staff made the stay pleasant and nice

Breakfast was basic but not bad..breakfast sandwich and juice.. was decent for price

Outside look very run down had dogs running the parking area..

Disappointing

It looks like they are trying to get an old property functional again. The staff tried to be helpful but were unable to provide what they did not have. For example, a second room key. The first room we were given had a heater that seemed to not want to turn off. The second room we were given was very functional and both seemed reasonably clean. When I checked out at 4:30 am the night clerk kindly made coffee for me. We looked for bugs and did not find any. A bit overpriced for what we got but we got the sleep we needed which was the main thing.

Absolutely atrocious. These rooms should be $30 per night. Poor housekeeping. Hairs all over the floors and bathroom. We had to wear our shoes the whole time. We used our own blankets and pillows. I would not have stayed here if I saw the room first but we were so sleepy when we arrived.

Not recommended at all.

Literally the only things that were ok were the comfort of the bed and full cable.

To begin with, when I checked into the room, there were paint chips all over the floor and bed from the ceiling. The refrigerator had old food in it and the shower had a used bar of soap, along with hair and something gross on the bathtub floor. Very, very obvious that this room had not been checked in a long time and was never cleaned properly to begin with. There was construction in other rooms below mine during the day and was so loud that I called the office to ask them to talk with the workers. I was very ill and the only reason I stayed there on this trip was so that I could rest and recover, but that didn’t happen during the day. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel Blue 66 is my first choice for Santa Rosa. Its comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious.

Great location off I-40 on the old Route 66 that is quiet and away from normal traffic. It has bed and bathroom upgrades that make sense. Well done!

Nothing comes to mind. I don't eat breakfast so no comment there - but I do drink coffee, which was provided.

very nice place to stay for a low cost, staff was helpful and friendly. nice location. We would stay there again.

The room and lobby/breakfast area was very clean, room was spacious.

It's not a 5 star hotel. But for $34 it was a 10. And I'll stay there again. Courteous. Clean. Loved it!
