Anna, who runs Amani is probably one of the best hosts I have encountered. She is so invested and engaged with the property, working 24x7 and looking after her guests like family. She has trained her staff really well allowing for very clean rooms and wonderful meals. The breakfast are a delight with amazing choices and everything homemade...including jams like passion fruit, mango etc and cakes (you get 3 varieties to choose from every breakfast). We also ate dinner one evening - sea food pasta and it was wonderful made the Italian way (thats where Anna is from). She also took care to make my sons pasta with no oil based on his dietary preference and it was fab!
Our flight was early in the morning and Anna woke up way before her scheduled time in order to pack us a breakfast!
The location of Amani B&B is also great - just a 2 mts walk to the beach. Additionally they have a strong generator to take care of the power cuts.

The safest I felt in Paje. Lovely staff, good breakfast, you can order food during the day from the menu, close to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Great value in that price category. After 3 nights I moved to the larger hotel on the beach and oh dear I wish I’ve stayed at Amani.
The road to the beach is really narrow full of plastic and glass. Larger restaurants and hotels on the beach don’t look after the beach or the roads. Property it self is great.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was clear throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, always friendly and ready to assist with anything needed. The manager goes above and beyond to ensure guests are happy, constantly checking in and making sure everything is perfect.
The breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety and high quality. What truly makes this place special is the unique blend of Italian hospitality with a warm Swahili welcome—it creates such a genuine, comfortable, and memorable experience. Highly recommended.
The only minor inconvenience was occasional short power cuts. However, the hotel has a generator that provides 24/7 power. My room was closest to the generator, so I could hear a slight humming sound during brief outages.

Breakfast and cleaning
It's the first time since I made reservations on Booking and received a different room than the one I booked. I was totally dissatisfied, I did not benefit from a place with privacy, as the other rooms had. I felt discriminated. I left the accommodation the next day.
